got my hands on the 3ds demo, the game feels great, the 3ds controls are kinda meh, but i know its just me getting use to it. the screens don't do this game any justice, its a really nice colorful 60fps experience!

found out some inside information working at best buy, but some of the amiibo's have a higher margin value than others. for example when i was looking at the store cost (which also is our employee pricing) Mario cost more than Donkey kong, $11.05 mario and $9.56 dk. may not sound like a big deal, but that $1.50 difference tells me that nintendo is selling mario figures to these retailers at a higher price than others, which also must indicate one will be more valuable in the sense of use across other games.

I don't know if trusting reviews will be a good idea, considering the mold of what shooters "should be" today, i can see many places giving it a bad review.i'll wait for reviews, im not much of a shooter person

That's good. Just hope Nintendo does larger runs for each wave from now on. 2nd wave pre-order on Amazon.... almost all unavailable except for Luigi.

It makes sense though, with all the figures due to come out retailers cannot simply keep making room for them on the shelf. Online outlets should carry every amiibo, at least you would hope. I suspect the main nintendo characters to remain on the shelf in stores and with each new wave coming out, they'll probably only carry a handful of the new ones.

I got mine. It's a lot of fun but I'm hoping the enemies become tougher to defeat as the game progresses.
It's really the sort of game you play for around an hour before having a break, it would get very repetitive if you played it for hours on end.
agree with taking a break after an hour or 2, I did put the difficulty on Hard which made it better for me.

My only problem is my Link Amiibo most likely won't work with MK8... unless they patch on Link. That would be sick. .. Maybe Link is there waiting for my Amiibo to unlock him. Doubt it.
So i guess my one concern is how a Mario figure may have more value/use then say a Link, Animal Crossing villager, Samus or whatever.
I see what you mean, but if you think about it, chances are all those amiibos will have use at some point between 3ds games and wii-u
only one i see possibly not would be wii fit trainer.

If its true that Iwata is the sole reason games haven't gone mobile, then i feel he needs to remain in chair. As i said on another forum, if nintendo goes mobile, it opens the door to justify putting nintendo games on playstations and xboxs...and nintendo simply can't have that.

This is all sorts of GREAT! the pricing is fair, the content is mind blowing, and the timing is perfect in november! however.....can't help but wonder in the back of my mind...is this releasing in november to strengthen mario kart 8, or to make up for a possible smash bros delay.
this IS something nintendo would do, and the timing of this coming forward, it would have been more appropriate to announce this in a september direct

I put the game on Hard from the start, the AI after the 1st level is much better, couple of times i had to flee and go run for hearts. Didn't even know there was an intense mode (shutters). loving every minute of this game though, glad i made the purchase.

Well i had been playing since i came home from work ha so just now hitting the internet. Never played any so I'm starting on the 1st game, its very nice. I like the combat, the visuals even for the 1st one are very grand and fluid, so I'm very much looking forward to the 2nd game. 5 hours in, no complaints so far. and the costumes/sound effects are so awesome.

EULA has always stated the user never owns the software, physical or digital.

Really? How is that even legal?
I really don't know, because with that being true Gamestop and other places should never be allowed to sell used games if the original User is the only one entitled to the software.
