Poor single player campaign that lasts 6-7 hours that includes fun boss battles keeps getting thrown under the rug.
I'm probably the only one who bought it primarily for the single player campaign ![]()

I never finished the original because it was so blurry that it hurt my eyes. Looking forward to this!

Seems pretty far fetched but I'd definitely get it and the fact that Destructoid is reporting on it would seem to give it more credence

I just got a Seagate 1.5TB for $50 and a y-cable from Amazon for like $5. It's a HUGE improvement convenience-wise over my old 320 GB that was the size of a brick and needed to be plugged into the wall. With any of these make sure you get the y-cable.

You bought it for use with your Wii U?
Yeah, that's why I had to get the Y-cable. Wii U can't power an external HDD that doesn't have its own power source unless you use two USB ports instead of just one.

Yes, just make sure that the connector for the external HDD is correct (mine was USB 3.0, not mini USB)

...except that it seems that most Nintendo gamers are just buying handhelds.
It'll be an advantage for me. I don't need Nintendo to be the best-selling console to enjoy it.
But maybe the value proposition on top of the supposedly industry-leading tech will draw more consumers?

"industry leading chips" would be very expensive. The PS4 is $350 right now. It's a console with a normal controller. The NX would have to be more powerful and deliver a second screen at the same time. The handheld part of NX would need its own CPU, GPU, RAM, you name it... This together would cost at least $500. The current customers who would buy a 3DS are those that probably don't want to spend a lot of money on a platform. NX would be more expensive as a PS4 or Xbox One. This is problematic.
That would be a large up-front investment but for people who care about mobile gaming it wouldn't be any more expensive than buying a console and handheld separately. If you consider a console launch price of around $400 and a handheld launch price of around $200, you're actually saving $100. Then there's the fact that you wouldn't need to be different sets of games, thus saving a huge amount on games.

Why would it be untrue just because it makes sense? Nintendo's actions make sense all the time, just you cannot look at industry statistics and expect them to apply.
it's cool to say that Nintendo doesn't know how to run their business

I love the sharp green and clean design of the Xbox case. PS4 is too similar to a regular blu ray case. It's between Xbox and Wii U for me.

Let me guess, no Triforce Heroes game included with the special edition console...
And I want the regular New 3DS but am not going to buy a special edition and then change faceplates...
...so....
...yeah....

Same as Majora's se, no game at the $199 price point
Older SE's had games

Oh I know and the price would reflect it.
Not necessarily true. Prime example: the original 3DS Zelda SE bundle (w/Ocarina of Time 3D) retailed at the console MSRP of $199 when it was released. The whole idea of the pack-in is that it boosts sales of the console by not charging extra for the game. It seems to have become more or less the norm with standard consoles...I don't think Nintendo, Microsoft, or Sony have a current SKU that is lacking some kind of pack-in game. I wish Nintendo hadn't stopped doing it with their SE consoles (though they aren't the only ones...as Sony's LE Batman console cost $50 more). At least the Wind Waker Wii U bundle had a digital copy of the game.

So is this a fighting game like Street Fighter?
Why is it called Pokken instead of Pokemon?

Yeap no sale here either, i have stopped all digital purchese on the Wii-U on anything above £10 now, no point anymore spending £40 on digital games when the system is already winding down.
I see your point, but there's a good chance that NX will be compatible with Wii U games, including digital ones.
