That's pretty common tho. Many publishers pay them for ads or give strong wording. Some ven send instruction manuals how to review it. It's why Pro website reviews are often full of BS giving so many hyped broken pieces of trash massive scores.

There's been far too much backpedaling with this game. It kind of reminds me of Spore.

I wonder if Ubisoft paid IGN enough money for a 9/10.... I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

Plot twist: Ryu-Gi is Miyamoto and made a terrible looking mock-up on Gmod so that we'd be content with whatever the real Zelda U looks like.

In the meantime I'll be playing  Mario Kart 8 on my "underpowered" Wii U at 1080p and 60fps.

I was shocked to already see merchandising (action figs and stuff) in stores when the game isn't even out yet and people are already threating like it's the next big franchise, in the same league as AC, GTA and COD but honestly the game will probably end up being mediocre and will dissapoint especially because of people's high expectations. 

Who'da thunk that an open world game would be more graphically demanding than a Karting game? 

inb4 shoe horned gay relationships that everyone will go crazy for because it's "progressive" and "forward thinking".

I'm not sure - I'd sacrifice Resident Evil 7* for a true-to-the-original full on Resident Evil 2 remake Wii U exclusive 

 

* (because the series has gone far too downhill for me to buy it unless it's back to creepy rooms where you're anticipating what is around the corner I'm not interested, but I'm not sure about other Resi fans)

RE7 is supposed to be returning to the series roots, so that's nice. They proved that they can make a competent classic RE game with the RE5 DLC and Revelations, we'll just have to wait and see if they stick to their word.

It'd be nice if the Last Guardian released on the Wii U. Maybe we'll get Resident Evil 7 for Wii U too.

Fallout is not an FPS. It can be played in first person, I'll give you that. But calling it an FPS when it can also be played in third person? I think that logic kind of eats itself. Also, the lack of Half-Life, Borderlands, and Left 4 Dead is killing me here.
