PAPER MARIO
Paper Mario is a unique character, who uses the help of his partners to fight. One partner can ever be used at a time, and which partner you use is decided on the character select screen, just like how you can select the Pokemon to start with when using Pokemon Trainer.
Neutral Special: Hammer
Mario will pull out a hammer, and charges up a swing. A star counter shows up and counts to 3. As in the games, the 3rd star is what you are aiming for. Any longer, and the move won't work.
Side Special: Power Stomp
Mario takes a huge leap forward, and if he lands on an opponent, he will damage them. If the jump button is pressed right when he lands on them, more damage is done.
Up Special: Paper Airplane
Mario folds himself up into an airplane, and a gust of wind sends him upwards. He can glide in this form.
Down Special: Partner Move
This is where your partner comes into play. There are four partners to use, each with a different ability.
Kooper: Kooper will hide in his shell, and Mario will jump on it, sending it speeding across the ground.
Bombette: Mario will place Bombette on the ground, and she will start walking slowly. After a second or two, she will explode.
Madame Flurrie: She blows and large gust of wind that pushes back opponents.
Vivian: She pulls Mario down into her shadow, allowing him to avoid attacks.
Final Smash: Art Attack
Mario will use the power of the crystal star to summon Art Attack. When activated, the player must draw a series of circles around opponents to damage them. The smaller the circle, the stronger the attack.
Taunt 1: Mario spins around before giving the player a thumbs up.
Taunt 2: Mario falls over as if he had lost, and then jumps back up.
Taunt 3: Mario waves to the screen.

Yeah I think that the limit was 3 times a month.
So it is. Well then, it seems this topic is a bit pointless now.

? I thought there already was a limit. I thought it was that you can only change it 3 times a month.
Is there? I never needed to change my name, so i really don't know.

Say you want to change your name, so you do. The next day, you want to change it again. Nope. Not today. You must wait a month (for the sake of the example) before you can change it again.

You can distract an evil king with a fishing rod.
What are you talking about? Have you ever faced the power of the fishing rod? It's a divine force not of our world...
Last time I checked, eating flowers and mushrooms won't give you random powers and suits. Unless it's a magic mushroom...

I like that idea, it might be a little bit too much out of the whole mario franchise though, i mean you have bowser peach luigi mario wario yoshi. I just think it might be a little much for the developers
But i do love the idea and would love to see it
Technically, Wario and Yoshi are their own series in Smash, so Mario only has 4 characters. There are 5 Zelda characters (that's including Shiek), and 6 Pokemon characters (Pokemon Trainer is 3 different characters). More people demand Toad, but how can they have Mario, Luigi, and Wario, and but Waluigi. Including Waluigi also adds opportunities for the story (if there is one). Imagine Mario and Luigi trying to stop a villain, but Wario and Waluigi get in the way. Would also make a cool event match.

Screw all of those lame characters everyone is suggesting.
WALUIGI TIME!
Neutral Special: Power Strike
A soccer ball appears in front of Waluigi, and sends it flying with a mighty kick. The longer the move is charged for, the more powerful the strike. It's not as powerful as the soccer ball item though.
Side Special: Thorn Rush
Waluigi dashes forward, knocking into opponents in his way. They are then treated to a series of thorn covered vines that grow where Waluigi ran.
Up Special: Air Swim
Waluigi starts swimming through the air. As he swings his arms, enemies in the way are slapped around. This effect acts the same as the fan item.
Down Special: Whirl Luigi
Waluigi will spin around, forming two tornadoes, one on each side of him. The tornadoes with move across the ground for roughly 2-3 seconds. Enemies will be sent upwards, but no damage will be done. This gives Waluigi a great opening for a combo.
Final Smash: Wall Luigi
Vines begin to grow from the sides of the screen. They grow through platforms, and in a random, twisty pattern. Getting stuck in a box of vines is deadly. Once the vines reach the center of the stage, they retreat back from where they came.
Taunt 1: Waluigi does a crotch chop while saying "Waluigi! YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!"
Taunt 2: Waluigi stands in place for a second before turning to the screen and saying "What?"
Taunt 3: Waluigi laughs and says "Take that, loser!"

Not only that, there is also the 3DS version that they need to work on too. That could extend the release date by a month or two.

Metroid not doing good in sales is Nintendo's fault. They should be looking at the games being released and time the release of their game so that it will attract more players.
Last time I checked, the creator of Metroid said that a game on the Wii U is going to happen. Don't remember where I saw it though...

No, if Nintendo did not want DK they wouldn't have asked Retro to make DKC Returns. The franchise I see that is in danger is Metroid, someone needs to save it A.S.A.P
Why? Because of Other M? The game wasn't THAT bad. It's obviously the worst in the series, but I don't think it's enough to bring the series down. It's like if Pixar made a movie that bombed. Would that put them in danger of being shut down? No, because of all the success of their other films.

How about a Paper Mario themed month?
That would be the greatest thing to ever happen in the history of things happening.
An Earthbound/Mother theme would be cool.

Don't know if this really fits, but Mario can break bricks by punching them from below, but can only kill enemies from jumping on them. Why can't he punch them from underneath?

Then there are other franchises. Wario Land/Ware is still popular, so a game every now and then is good. A new Punch Out game on the Wii U would be cool, but I don't see it happening. It would be nice to see a new Yoshi game, probably on the 3DS. We already know Pikmin 3 is on it's way, and will most likely keep building as a series. Nintendo should keep the trend of a Paper Mario game a console going. Not much needs to be said about Mario Kart as everyone knows one will be on the Wii U.
#49813 Idea: Super Mario U

why not have it similar to mario 64 ds where, when you save the main characters, you could play as them and they could do things you couldnt. you could also bring stories and characters from the other mario series like wario land and the star children from yoshi's island and so on
...and Waluigi. Don't forget Waluigi. The guy needs to appear in a mainstream game.
The only things characters did differently in SM64DS was the special blocks that gave you abilities, and every now and then you would NEED a character, like Mario for the race missions with that Koopa guy whose name escapes me, and for the Bowser battles. They would really need to expand on the different moves and attributes. Maybe Wario could use his shoulder bash move to break certain walls and blocks, and we all know Luigi can jump higher then Mario, giving him access to new areas. Waluigi could run up walls or swim through the air for a brief second. Mario has the basic moves.
As for power ups, they could bring back the switch blocks that you had to find to activate the colored blocks. They all get power ups like the fire flower, mega mushroom, and tanooki leaf, but everyone has their own power ups. Mario gets the wing cap and p-balloon. Luigi could have the invisibility cap and boomerang plant. Wario would have the metal cap and the power garlic, which allows him to do a long shoulder bash charge breaking even bigger blocks and destroying larger enemies. Waluigi mini mushroom and tornado flower, which gives him the ability to spin upwards like the propeller suit did, just it looks cooler.
Man, I need to stop writing so much...

Maybe an online battle mode like in Super mario 64 DS. Who can get more coins, or simple races to the end. Co-op would be online as well.

I recognize Ridley, Saki, and Young Link, but I'm not quite sure on the last. Looks like Palutena. Those are really cool. They show a 'style' which is something Smash Bros. lacks. It's nice to have good graphics, but I do not like the realistic style they used in Brawl. I really don't care if you can see every detail of Mario's mustache. Street Fighter has that ink like look to it, and Marvel VS Capcom has the comic look. Maybe a bit more of a cartoon feel to it?I have made some fake SSB4 logos in Photoshop for fun. I'll post them here for the heck of it. They feature characters I think would be cool to hypotheticly include in SSB4.
Kudos to you if you can recognize all of the characters in the pictures.

Well THE WHOLE SONIC 06!
The game was so bad, I actually had fun with it.
I remember playing Brawl with some friends, and we were on the Corneria stage. While running up the ship, I jumped (I'm Yoshi by the way), and got stuck in the incline. I was able to get out, but when I did, I was stuck floating on a horizontal line. I couldn't go up or down, but I could go left or right in mid air. I then moved to the side of the screen and no one could get me. Then they got mad and turned off the game...

Is it sad that the only one of those IPs I know is Sonic?
No it's not. SEGA left everything else they have made to rot in the dump, though they do have some newer stuff like The Conduit, Vanquish, and Bayonetta, and they still have Virtua Fighter. Their other popular franchises like Shenmue and Jet Set Radio haven't seen a game since 2002-2003. Luckily, these Sega Superstars/All Stars games are bringing back older characters, which gives SEGA the perfect chance to revive games, just like how Super Smash Bros. Brawl brought Pit back, and now he has a new game.

Item Thrower: Wario and Waluigi are coming up behind us! Quickly, move to the right so I can angle the fireball shots!
Driver: No problem!
My friends and I would have so much fun with that game.It is, with out a doubt, my favorite Mario Kart game. Too bad I lost it. I would love to see a new version of that, but as everyone has said, you should be able to choose between single kart or double kart. Having a computer handling the items in DD was a pain.
