#81978 Rumor: Wii U to support 4 U pads?

My such negativity. It's just a thought guys, no need to be mean.

#81880 RUMOUR: Final Fantasy XV leaked, Wii U/PS3 multiplat?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 30 May 2012 - 10:55 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Seems Legit......

I swear, why do people think that using a Phone's camera for footage in a mock presentation at a Collage Seminar Hall is at all convincing?

#81877 Rumor: Wii U to support 4 U pads?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 30 May 2012 - 10:50 AM in Wii U Hardware

just as i have predicted for months now, jessedog will back me up on this

i repeat, its really not too difficult, its only a bit more difficult than 4 player split screen on ps3 cos its like running 4 seperate games. the extra difficulty is in rendering more pixels but being a "powerful powerful... next gen system" the wii u should be able to do it

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible(Assuming that the GPU and cpu can handle it.) If need be, they can drop the graphics quality, like Halo does, or the Frame Rate, Like Mario Kart.

Who is gonna buy 4 of them anyway, they will be expensive as hell. I mean, motioncensor, camera, 6,2 inch 480p (?) touchscreen (single touch resistive though, which is cheaper than multitouch capacitive), NFC, all other functions a controller has... Good for about 80 dollars, seeing a Wii + Nunchuck already is 60.

Lan Parties? Couch Gamers like my 2 bro's and myself, there is a market for it.

#81833 Rumor: Wii U to support 4 U pads?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 30 May 2012 - 08:02 AM in Wii U Hardware

After this(http://mynintendonew...by-ubisoft-dev/) recent leak, further review of the supposed GPU suggests that the Wii U MIGHT just support 4 U pads.

http://www.amd.com/u...overview.aspx#2

The Supposed GPU states that it has, and I quote, "
  • AMD Eyefinity multi-display technology
  • Native support for up to 5 simultaneous displays
  • Independent resolutions, refresh rates, color controls, and video overlays
  • Display grouping
  • Combine multiple displays to behave like a single large display"
[/list]While this isn't any confirmation in the slightest, it IS possible that if this is the GPU, that 4 U pads can be used at one time.

What do you guys think? Possible, or not likely in the slightest.

#72571 A problem that could happen with Wii U's launch titles.

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 16 April 2012 - 02:18 PM in Wii U Hardware

I doubt that 3rd parties would be that dumb, and I doubt people would only buy Nintendo Games at launch.
In fact, I think that if there weren't Mario and pikmin, that it would hurt the Wii U. No they may want to delay one at launch if they were REALLY afraid of this, but I doubt it.

#70141 Xbox 720 "includes 16 core processor"

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 06 April 2012 - 08:15 PM in General Gaming

Isn't Sony in some kind of financial trouble on the game market?
Or did I dream that?
Someone please tell me.

Everyone is in Finacial trouble, Sony esspecially.

I don't see this as true whatsoever. The system would be REALLY expencive, and I don't the the Microsoft shareholders would let a loss like that slide.

#70003 Ouch.. Bad news for Nintendo and Wii U..

Has he posted proof that these statements are true?

#69481 Does anyone notice how the bad rumors came right after the bad PS4/720 rumors?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 04 April 2012 - 01:58 PM in Wii U Hardware

I am a teenager but I bet the fanboys who are trolling are just a bunch of kids or teenagers who have no gaming experience except from COD whatsoever. They hate on Nintendo? Well, I bet they've never played Zelda or Mario Galaxy.

I've read a comment from someone that said "graphics over gameplay anyday" I was shocked.

A lot of these are also "grown men" you can find these silly ponys so easily.

-I know this part is about Battlefield vs COD, but I think you get the point.
"Battlefield 3 may beat MW3 in gameplay and other stuff, but it won't beat it in sales and online because Battlefield sucks and it's for (cats)" I will show you one of his not good videos once I find him again.

Welcome to the Internet!

#69478 NEW Star Wars Battlefront 3 FOOTAGE

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 04 April 2012 - 01:51 PM in General Gaming

Sorry guys, but this is the cancelled version from Free Radical that was canned a few years back. Spark Unlimited is apparently working on the new version, and we know nothing about that.

Even then, that's only half-true, we have no evidence that Spark is making it.

#69205 3DS XL

The only way I would be happy if there was a new 3DS, would be if that was about 2 years from now, no time closer.

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 30 March 2012 - 01:35 PM in Wii U Hardware

Microsoft said that they have no intrest in making 1st party exclusives. The only ones that come to mind are Kinect games.

There's Halo.... That's about it when it comes to "Hardcore."
For the record, I love Halo.

#68600 Reflection on Nintendo: People Hate Success

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 30 March 2012 - 10:22 AM in General Gaming

Don't forget their second game Angry Birds: Seasons, their third game Angry Birds: Rio, and their newest game Angry Birds Space. I agree with you I do hate these cocky idiots, they think just because they sold millions they will put the Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita out of the market.

Glad I'm not alone.

You only have to pay for it on iOS. On every other service I've seen it on it's free! If Nintendo ever gave away free Mario games, the number "sold" would make Angry Birds look inadequate.

True, but that's my point.

#68546 Reflection on Nintendo: People Hate Success

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 29 March 2012 - 08:12 PM in General Gaming

YOU FORGOT ANGRY BIRDS!! I find it as an awesomely outstanding video game. It is very fun to play. No reason to hate it!

I don't hate Angry Birds... I just hate the idiots who make it. They are so cocky just because the made a milion seller game, eventhough it was only 99 Cents!

#68492 wii U, Gamefly, and the next gen.

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 29 March 2012 - 01:19 PM in Wii U Hardware

Nintendo already has the upper hand. It will have a 1 to 2 year head start. WILL play used games and be backwards compatible. Plus Only reason anyone would get the 720 is for Halo 5 and 6....2 games woop dee doo. As for PS4 lol who ever wants that is just a moron.

I don't know, they might have some really good exclusives.

#68476 Xbox 720 "A generation leap" Says a NeoGaf source

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 29 March 2012 - 11:17 AM in Wii U Hardware

In responce to the OP

Here's my question: Why?

Xbox was, whether you like them or not, Dead on Arrival. Just as we have Shareholders saying Nintendo should go make games for Apple, there defniativly has to be people at Microsoft saying that this gaming venture is stupid. Shareholders only really listen to money, and they're not getting any. If they were to do another leap, they would be commiting suicide in the eyes of shareholders, as they wouldn't be making money. They're losing money as is.

#68471 wii U, Gamefly, and the next gen.

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 29 March 2012 - 11:02 AM in Wii U Hardware

Idk. Microsoft and Sony both lost alot of money on their consoles. I think both companies will probably do the same thing they did last time by releasing powerful graphic consoles, with the latest technologies at a loss; but this time they are figuring out a way to counter balance the loss per console and recoup those losses faster. So in a way it's sort of a smart move. Digital downloads are cheaper. Plus, if Sony is planning on making folks pay for an unlock code in order to activate a used game, it's a win win situation. It cuts out the middlemen(gamestop,gamefly,ect.....sorry but it does) and allows Sony to sell the same game twice. So look at it like this, if a game launches on ps4 for $50 new, and gamestop gets it used 2 weeks later, they are going to sell it for around 35-40 bucks. Sony and developers receive zero dollars from second hand sells. Gamestop gets all the money. Now, remove gamestop from the equation and replace them with Sony's anti-used game feature. Consumers would have to pay Sony for an unlock code for the used game that they have. The game will be unlocked, and Sony will get to pocket an additional 35-40 bucks on a game it all ready sold once. That brings the grand to of that game up from $50 to around $85-$90. Just imagine if that same one gets pass down by 3 or 4 people. That's 3 or 4 people more unlock codes Sony can sell. They can literally made hundreds of dollars of just 1 individual game. Ingenious. Ingenious.

This is true, but I doubt the legality of such a practice.

Back during the NES days, Nintendo sued Blockbuster for renting Video Games, saying it was like piracy. Blockbuster won the case, under the fact that they bought the copy of the game, and they could do what they want with said copy. It would be one thing to lock a game to an account, it's another to charge people to let them play what they already have. Even then, I'm sure the account locking is on VERY shaky ground.

#68463 wii U, Gamefly, and the next gen.

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 29 March 2012 - 09:57 AM in Wii U Hardware

Exactly!

I really hope any and Microsoft makes that dumb decision. Will make life easier for Nintendo next gen.

Speaking of which, There's rumors that Sony's going to do that too, but I doubt it.

#68457 wii U, Gamefly, and the next gen.

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 29 March 2012 - 09:00 AM in Wii U Hardware

Gamefly is a touchy subject. It's a rental service, but you get to keep the game as long as you want, so technically that's keeping money out of the devs. Pockets. So yes, Gamefly technically is used games. If Nintendo is the only ones keeping used games viable, then logic says, as humans like to save money, that yes, they would be at an advantage.

#67722 Call of Duty ruining Resident Evil?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 24 March 2012 - 06:46 AM in General Gaming

I don't think Call of Duty has much, if anything to do with the Producer's decision.
People are beginning to feel increasingly disillusioned with the Call of Duty series - you can already see the signs, at least I'm pretty sure that's not just in Australia (where I'm from).

I'm pretty sure that it's not North America though, that game is starting to get into Monster Hunter and Dragon Quest Territory.

#67658 Rumors about Retro's new game

Mua Ha Ha Ha ha, I think I will go visit Retro Studios during the Summer or on my B-day since I live in Houston. Does PS3/360 style mean "Harcore"........I'll just wait for E3.

You're from Texas!?

SOMEONE FROM THE GREAT STATE IS HERE!!!!!!!!

Okay, with that aside, I'm don't think it will be a FPS, but like someone else said, I'm thinking Western RPG.
