Like Sega Saturn, Genesis Model 2 and 3, Snes original and Mini, and such. The Sega Saturn would need a region switch, whereas the others would need AV modding.

#295675 Classic Console Modding Services?

I've been searching forever and I can't seem to find a decent place in the Central Valley or somewhere in Northern California that does classic console mods. As much as I'd like to ship them to other places, I have many consoles that need to be modded. All I can find are places that mod the modern consoles. I'd like to have some of my older consoles AV modded. Any help here?

I've learned with buying DBZ games full price. NEVER do that. I traded in Raging Blast 2 thinking it was meh. I used that money to buy Ultimate Tenkaichi. Worst mistake of my life. I think they just need to hand the DB franchise over to a different developer or just stop making 'em altogether. They pretty much release a new game for every new piece of media that comes out like the Episode of Bardock special and Battle of Gods movie. It's always the same old story that everyone's heard before. Any what-if story just sounds about as bad as a 5th grader's DBZ fan-fiction.
Basically it's like "Oh hey, let's make another game nobody asked for. I wonder what we should do this time? OH YEAH! I'll consult the idea machine!"![]()

Ever played the Klonoa remake on Wii? Fantastic game. It was supposed to be a reboot but it failed to sell.
Oh I loved it! I was one of the very few people who preordered it...or even bought it... Got the hat as a preorder bonus, but it doesn't fit my big head D:

Same here lol
But yeah, it'd be nice to have more of the games, but now we have Mighty No. 9 to replace Mega Man. As for Klonoa and Metal Slug, NamcoBandai refuses to actually do proper promotion of the games, but then they wonder why no one buys them, and then SNK Playmore is just... you know, I haven't even heard from that company in a while. Last I heard was all they make nowadays is just KoF and Samurai Showdown. :/

Check out Mighty NO 9 if you havent seen it yet. Also look up A Hat in Time and Lobodestroyo. These are all games that you should be on the look out for.
Oh yeah, I've heard of those. They all look pretty good so far. Though at this time I don't have the money to support all these Kickstarters. ![]()

Klonoa is pretty much the red headed step child Sonic the Hedgehog and seeing how bad Sonic is faring these days I dont see Klonoa getting a breath.
It really sucks how my favorite game franchises tend to get the shaft. Klonoa, Mega Man, Metal Slug... Honestly, as much as I'd love a new Klonoa or HD remakes, the chances would be slim to none. If I'm lucky, they'd at least put 1 and 2 on the 3DS, or the GBA titles on the eshop.

Klonoa 1 and 2 HD, so long as NamcoBandai doesn't screw up with the advertising like before. Has anyone seen the Wii remake ads? They're atrocious. The game is cutesy, but it doesn't mean you should advertise it as a game for 7 year olds. If you look at the plot in the two games, there's some PRETTY DEEP stuff that they subtly sprinkle on. One may not completely catch the more subtle things, but holy hell is it genius when you do see it. It's a shame these go so ignored, with the Wiimake only selling 2,000 copies in the US...

I'd like to see what any dev could do with Jet Set Radio, Shenmue, Star Fox, F-Zero, Skies of Arcadia etc...
I can't really think of any game that I'd like to see a small studio work on, just franchises I'd like to see revived. Perhaps wayforward could make a Streets of rage?
I could see them doing a Streets of Rage and a few other titles. I want a lot more old school beat-em-ups. I wish they'd also make a new Metal Slug, or maybe even a new Klonoa, or remakes of the console/handheld games, though I could see them having a higher chance of making HD remakes of the handheld titles. To be honest, Mighty Switch Force vaguely reminds me of those, what with the puzzle solving and collecting.
Roller Coaster Tycoon.
If one man could code the entire first two games...
This. Oh god yes this. I spent SO MANY HOURS in RCT2. It was glorious. Then I lost the disc ![]()

So if a smaller developer decided to continue a dead franchise or remake one or more games of said franchise, what do you guys think should be worked with? I'm not sure if Wayforward is considered a small dev nowadays from what I've seen, but what would you want devs similar to them do in terms of continuation/Remakes?

Though people may be upset if this would be Wii U only, it'd sure as hell sell.

SM3DW should be worth the $65 I'm scrounging up for it. If 3D Land is anything to go by, I'll probably play it through the first run, maybe stop for a while on the special, but always come back to it. I'm not worried with the extra content, but it sure as hell better be worth the gray hairs I'm getting just trying to get the money for this game.

I would like, but doubt Crapcom would ever make effort to do:
- Translate Japan-only titles
- Music selection options (remix vs original; MMX3 SNES vs PSX; MM8 PSX vs Saturn; Power Battle CPS1 vs CPS2; and etc.)
- Strategy guide books for each different Mega Man subseries included in a special edition package
- Include the more obscure MM titles
- Perhaps have another "higher up" special edition with a case to hold the game and the guide books
- Possibly have a fan-made remix score for some games, like OCRemix songs in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix
- Maybe TRY to get the Saturn version of Mega Man 8 in?
- Oh, and get some re-dubbing done. Some games reeeaaaally need it.
- FIX THAT HANG UP WITH THE LEGENDS GAMES. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

The title says it all. If, in the mostly unlikely chance of a collection being made, what games do you think should be added? In my mind, it'd be a steelcase multi-disk set (not sure if you can fit all the games on one 25 GB disk). How the titles should be divided... I dunno. But really, they could have enhanced features and changeable settings (much like Anniversary Collection and Complete Works). The Gamepad could be very useful for this collection. For DS titles, the games could be scaled up to play on the gamepad alone, or on both the tv and gamepad (with the top screen being the tv, and the gamepad being the lower one). The special features could be put on a separate disk, with possibly the OVAs and the cartoon series. Being that this would be a large collection, there should also be the possibility to play the titles that never made it out of Japan. I wouldn't mind paying a pretty penny for this. ALL I WANT IS FOR IT TO EXIST. ![]()
