I didn't have much to work with since I only had the basic tools but I tried to make it fun and simple. 

I haven't bought this yet but apparently you can actually play using the gamepad as your controller. Is this the first wii game where this is possible?

Huh, is Ganondorf not out in America or something? I bought him just last week.

So pleased they're bringing this over.

Looks like it might be an enhanced port as at around 1:16 of the video you can see him using a spiked bat which implies they've added more melee weapons.

Really a shame as I thought the game looked like it could be great fun, but if what's being said is true it seems like it's going to be very disappointing.

I was a big fan of virtues last reward so I'm really pleased to see this announced. Maybe I should play 999 before this comes out though?

Huh, depending on the price in the uk I might pick this up. I'm a big fan of both the gc controller and the pro controller so hopefully it is the best of both worlds.

I've been playing way of the samurai 4 recently, really fun if you're willing to look past some stuff. 

Definitely a "B" game.

Don't mean to sound negative but I'm pretty sure 3rd parties had a positive reaction to the wii u, until it released. 

I'm gonna give it a go I think, normally I'm terrible with level creators but hopefully things will be different this time

Who knows maybe my mario experience will help awaken the inner level designer in me haha.

Really shows what the wii u can do in terms of visuals if you actually try with it.
Gameplay doesn't look half bad either haha.

I think I was too harsh on this game, having had some time to look more clearly at things it actually looks pretty fun. I get that it's not the kind of game metroid fans might have wanted and using the metroid prime name might not have been the best idea (wait and see on this) but really the game doesn't deserve the negative reaction it's getting.

I do think it was a bad idea to not discuss future metroid plans alongside this announcement as they should have realised that metroid fans would not react well to just this. Hopefully in the future things will become more clear.

Also anyone who signs the petition to cancel this game is being outright ridiculous imo.

Tbh I'd rather see project giant robo by platinum than this, but hey it's another game by platinum so I can't really complain haha.

Looking really good, wasn't too sure on this but nwc convinced me this is gonna be great. As long as the community is there that is.

Tbh most of the games their didn't really interest me but fallout towards the end really made the conference a lot better. I also find todd howard really interesting to listen to for some reason.

Apart from rares 30 game collection and sea of thieves this conference was pretty dull.

If their aim was to create hype this year then they succeeded. With a trio of awesome announcements and some other really interesting games like dreams they had a really solid conference. Lack of solid release dates let them down.

Nintendo D

As mainly a wii u fan this was so disappointing to me. Very little amount of wii u games actually announced and the games that should have been there just weren't. Hope treehouse can improve the general e3 experience but the conference was a big let down.

Square B

They had a really solid conference, they knew for the most part what the fans wanted and they delivered. Kingdom hearts is an example of this, sure they showed the mobile game but they knew their audience and immediately showed off kh3 after. Also nier 2 by platinum? 

The problem with this game is people wanting animal crossing wii u, not a spin off. I don't think the dislikes are deserved but they really should have had a mainline title to go along with this otherwise people were always going to be disappointed.

Might also have something to do with the amiibo part of the game.

I'm sure it will still come to wii u but if it doesn't launch on nx I'll be surprised (assuming nx is home console)

Even if nx launches a year later than zelda u it would still be a smart idea to release the "definitive" edition on nx with improved graphics and some additional content as a launch title for the system.

I'm not even a big fan of 3d metroid but cmon. 

There has to be another metroid game in dev, they leave metroid for so long and they think this is worthy of bringing it back??? Retro we need you
