#148283 Nano Assault Neo

Posted by Oblivion165 on 15 December 2012 - 07:24 AM in Wii U Games and Software

It claims to have Online Multiplayer which it does not so be warned.

#139469 Little Inferno

Posted by Oblivion165 on 27 November 2012 - 11:12 PM in Wii U Games and Software

I finished the PC version and for $4.99, oh you bet. $14.99....hmmm.

Really interesting setting and the best part for me was waiting for another letter from the other characters in the game. Really lets you feel what its like to live on a dying planet that is slowly getting colder and colder. That being said, its kinda short and has virtually no replay value at all so yeah, $4.99.

#138751 Gold Nunchuck available at Club Nintendo

Posted by Oblivion165 on 26 November 2012 - 07:24 PM in Wii U Hardware

I have points I have not put on nintendo club, what to do with them?

I entered all of mine today going all the way back to gamecube, even my consoles. Nintendo allowed most of them, only on a few DS/Gamecube games did they say I wouldn't get anything for them. 1400 points in one day ;)

#138567 Gold Nunchuck available at Club Nintendo

Posted by Oblivion165 on 26 November 2012 - 02:48 PM in Wii U Hardware

I've never used any of the nintendo points. I have them going back all the way to the gamecube. (or whenever they started)

EDIT: Jesus I have lots of these things.

#137697 Lego City?

Online COOP, instant buy. No online anything then I will wait for it to hit $20.

#137696 Black Ops 2 Home Button

Posted by Oblivion165 on 24 November 2012 - 09:27 PM in Wii U Games and Software

Yeah its a bug. The only way to close it out is to go into campaign and do it from there.

#131160 Batman preorder bonus

Posted by Oblivion165 on 16 November 2012 - 10:38 PM in Wii U Games and Software

As a batman fan, I envy.

#129177 Wii U media server?

Posted by Oblivion165 on 14 November 2012 - 10:52 AM in Wii U Hardware

Nintendo consoles won't even play DVDs. No chance they have media server support.

#129176 Official N. Magazine uploading the newest GTA V trailer... WTF?

Posted by Oblivion165 on 14 November 2012 - 10:49 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I don't get it either. Unless this is some subtle way of saying GTA V IS coming to the Wii U, there really isn't any point in ONM putting up the trailer.

Well, unless they think the game's so awesome everyone needs to hear about it, of course.

They get money for every person that views their videos and increases their odds that you will see some of their other uploads.

#128757 Tank tank tank preordered

Posted by Oblivion165 on 13 November 2012 - 03:05 PM in Wii U Games and Software

I'll possibly purchase this once reviews come out for it. They are being far too quiet for my taste and won't really say how deep this game goes. If its just 1 map over and over or if they actually have other places to play.

#128119 Sensor Bar Optional For Setting Up Wii U

Posted by Oblivion165 on 12 November 2012 - 09:55 AM in Wii U Hardware

doesn't a few mini games from nintendo require the wii remotes? Anyhow, I will need the sensor bar thats included with the Wii U because unfortunately I haven't got around to the first Wii so Im eager to play all the games I missed. Here i come Zelda, Metriod, Xenoblade, Last story, etc. :P

I don't understand. The Wii remote plus doesn't take advantage of the sensor bar?

I'm asking if Wii Motion Plus games decided to just ignore the sensor bar and use motion plus for all the input data. If motion plus truly is 1:1 then this should of been a viable option. I'm just not sure since I didn't use the Wii past year 2 and motion plus came out later.

I went ahead and purchased 3 motion plus controllers for the Wii U though.

#128090 Sensor Bar Optional For Setting Up Wii U

Posted by Oblivion165 on 12 November 2012 - 07:44 AM in Wii U Hardware

I stopped playing the Wii before Motion Plus came out. Did the FPS games start using the 1:1 Motion Plus input instead of the Sensor Bar?

#128001 Nuketown 2025 may be there after all

Posted by Oblivion165 on 11 November 2012 - 11:20 PM in Wii U Games and Software

They are just assuming from old information. From what we have heard so far Activision is having problems with the Wii U's DLC abilities and or Nintendos demands for DLC.

#127390 Digital or Physical

Posted by Oblivion165 on 10 November 2012 - 06:07 PM in Wii U Games and Software

All of my launch titles were physical but I plan to switch over to digital in all cases where I can.

Benefits
  • You can never lose the game due to a damaged/lost disc. My dog chewed up two when she was a puppy; cases and all so yay! Another $120 that I had to spend to get them back.
  • You don't have to change a disc. With the WiiU I can now play while cooking or at my desk.
  • They don't take up space around the house. I don't know about you guys but I have tons of games from NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS 1, PS 2, PS 3, Vita, 3DS, Virtual Boy, Sega, 32x, Sega CD and frankly I'm running out of room to put all that crap.

#126196 Pro Controller might be a bit crap!

Posted by Oblivion165 on 08 November 2012 - 04:06 PM in Wii U Hardware

Nice try with the referal link.

They might add more but it looks like not many are; might be because the launch is on a sunday.

#122075 GTA V promotional material spotted,no mention of Wii U, let the depression begin

Posted by Oblivion165 on 27 October 2012 - 11:13 PM in Wii U Games and Software

Saints Row was fun for about two mins, over the top stupidity on a very high level.

Well to each their own. I found it hilarious, refreshing and the full single player coop would be hard to top. I loved the improvements like leveling up your characters skills and helicopters that I could actually fly. (Always had problems with that in GTA, blades hit everything and a mother dog to land on the spot I wanted to)

Virtually every single car in the game can be upgraded and customized...loved it. But yeah, diversity makes the world go round.

#122074 WiiU Concerns

Posted by Oblivion165 on 27 October 2012 - 11:07 PM in Wii U Hardware

The should make VC games compatible with the pro controller, I don't see why they wouldn't.

It creates too many problems to go back and allow the new controller.

For instance: All of the titles on the VC were restructured to use that controller and all the supported controllers made at that time. Adding a new controller would force nintendo to update every single title on the VC to understand that new input and everyone would be required to manually re-download each and every one.

There would also be massive complaints from people that would like titles that originally supported rumble to use the new controllers rumble feature. (Code that could of easily been remove to save space and would have to be rewritten) Nintendo has opted to not do any of these things and just not support the controller to save them a lot of effort.

good to know, saw a couple of classic controllers for wii going cheap in C.E.X. yesterday, might go back today and get them.

Yup if you go under the tech specs on the official nintendo site: http://www.nintendo....res/tech-specs/
It states:

Other Controllers
The Wii U console is capable of supporting two Wii U GamePad controllers, up to four Wii Remote™ (or Wii Remote™ Plus) controllers or Wii U™ Pro Controllers, and Wii™ accessories such as the Nunchuk™, Classic Controller™ and Wii Balance Board™.

Which according to this article is all the released first party controllers nintendo ever made: http://en.wikipedia....wiki/Wii_Remote

I can't use screen protectors lol, I'm hopeless at getting them on, the amount of money I've spent on them and failed lmao B)

Get the ones with the two tabs. They usually cost a little more (1-3 dollars) but lord it helps so much.

#122022 GTA V promotional material spotted,no mention of Wii U, let the depression begin

Posted by Oblivion165 on 27 October 2012 - 05:05 PM in Wii U Games and Software

You guys really have No reason to have your hopes up so high on the first place...your really just setting yourselves up for disappointment.

Yup and after playing Saints row its kinda hard to even get excited for a GTA anymore. I just don't see them matching Saints Row: The Third. Also SR has full singleplayer coop and GTA is talking a multiplayer mode again. (Wasn't impressed with GTA IV's Multiplayer at all)

#121984 GTA V promotional material spotted,no mention of Wii U, let the depression begin

Doesn't mention PC either which is odd since every GTA is always on PC.

#121959 Little Inferno should be a day 1 buy for everyone!

Posted by Oblivion165 on 27 October 2012 - 01:59 PM in Wii U Games and Software

I loved world of goo but they are going to have to show some actual gameplay before they get my $15 (already have $200+ in games alone). Their video on the website is nice though.
