Damn I should of got up earier. I just thought a preorder was suppose to be a guaranteed. Oh well I'm second on the wait list. Hopefully next shipment will come in soon. Lesson learned.

So I preordered a copy of the deluxe a month ago, i paid my desposit and got the preorder card. so I went in today to pick up my deluxe wii u and they told me they sold out. Like wtf, can they do this horse scat. The whole purpose of me preordering is so I can guaranteed a purchase on day one. This just ruined my day. Does anyone know a way to get a wii u without a preorder?

I'll never trust gamespot reviews after giving re6 a 4.5. I know some people were disappointed that it wasn't a true survival horror but it had some elements and in the end it was just a fun and well narrated game. Gamespot staff doesn't seem to be very professional and sometimes doesn't review games objective but rather reviews the game on personal emotions. If I wanted a personal opinion I would ask my friend or someone I know.

I say the bring out the best Nintendos got a combination of pokemon/Zelda or super smash brawl/Metriod or 3d Mario/aaa jrpg title would destroy the competition next year. This would be smart on Nintendos behalf because they really need to do something about the next ps4 and Xbox. So I say bring your best Nintendo.

The 3ds is too early in it's life cycle to freely give wii u players that privillage. Maybe in 3-4 years when wii u and 3ds sales start to drop they could do that.

I haven't been this excited since the ps2! I wasn't this excited for even ps3 which I got like 2-3 years after it launch. Seriously the overhype graphic carp is getting old. I need something fresh like what nintendo is doing for the wii u. That's saying lot since the last Nintendo system I got was the n64! I have a good felling about the wii u. It's going to become legend. The wii u will probably be Nintendos best system since the SNES. I love Nintendo once again.

I heard the Wii U will be using a GPU similar to an ati radeon 4850HD. Thats about 3 times more poweful than an ps3/xbox. As for the CPU its an IBM power 7. Most likely it will be a quad core 2.4-3.2ghz that wil also be much more powerful than current generation. That being said, the overall graphics power will be slightly brought down from what the actually console is capable of, because the gamepad's streaming takes some power from the gpu and cpu. Also take into consideration an ati radeon 4850 on a console will produce better graphics than the same video card in a computer.

Actually that a terrible idea, no offence. I'll tell you why. First of all, the gamepad is running off the wii u console. In order to play games anywhere like a portable device means they would have to completely rebuild the gamepad with processors and video chips inside the gamepad. That would make the already expensive gamepad even more expensive. Why not just create the next generation Nintendo handheld? Secondly, that would defeat the whole purpose of the the wii u itself. The wii u is a home console. The whole reason for the gamepad is to intergrate the gamepad touch screen with the tv to create a unique gameplay experience. The off screen play and solo gamepad features are merely convienence and not the purpose of the gamepad. Sorry your idea was terrible. The chances of this happening is like 0.00001 %. But hey you can always dream.

Players should make their own goals? What kind of a cop out is that? They're the ones designing the games and the systems, they should be giving us things to accomplish; it's just laziness that they're not.

A lot of gamers these days put a lot of value into achievements/trophies so the Wii U lacking that feature will definitely be a factor in whether they buy the system or not. I personally don't need achievements to enjoy a game but I still think they're a good feature for a system to have.

You have a point. Its unfortunate, yes. But saying people will not buy the system because it doesn't have a achievement system is taking it a bit far. I mean your either interested in the system or your not. I don't think there is many people that will not buy the system just because of the lack of achievements IMO. Maybe 1 in 100000? I personally would love Nintendo to add achievements to their system and I am slightly dissappointed by it but that won't be a deal breaker for me. After all, its all about the games and the experience that far outweigh the achievements.

doesn't a few mini games from nintendo require the wii remotes? Anyhow, I will need the sensor bar thats included with the Wii U because unfortunately I haven't got around to the first Wii so Im eager to play all the games I missed. Here i come Zelda, Metriod, Xenoblade, Last story, etc.

I stopped playing the Wii before Motion Plus came out. Did the FPS games start using the 1:1 Motion Plus input instead of the Sensor Bar?

I don't understand. The Wii remote plus doesn't take advantage of the sensor bar?

Check Walmart in store, they took preorders late. In my Canada, the online Walmart sold out right away but in store didn't start taking preorders until beginning of November. I went in and got a preorder easily and they had like 20 deluxe left. Also the best buy in my area have a guaranteed in store stock at launch day so you might be able to pick one up if you go in early.

I think it will be a good idea to get remote plus. Esspecially if you want the full experience from wii u. Some wii titles may not require the remote plus but all future games that require the remote, you'll need the remote plus.

I hope they come out with original Wii U rpg titles like Last Story and Xenoblade but in 1080p HD. And some 2d rpgs would be cool too on vc and eshop. Too bad no RPG's at launch.
