I don't, its just when people get into heated arguments sometimes they get out of control :l
I know but I wasn't even participating in an argument, I was just talking about how porting the ue4 wouldn't make sense since than it would essentially be ue3 with a better workflow since the wiiu wont be able to effectively use the new ue4 effects not to mention some UE3.9 effect may give the wiiu trouble Since UE3.9 is far from primitive "look at samaritan tech demo"

To be honest other than laughing he said nothing wrong since remember ue4 is an upgrade of ue3 "which they update like every month and so ue3 and ue4 is the same engine just ue4 has some better graphical effects ,but since the wiiu cant run said effect "remember ps4 is struggling with them" their is no point in having ue4 on wiiu since it would be ue3 except in name not to mention both engines because of that are are most likely compatible with each other.

One, I'm not sure how you messed that quote up. Lol Two, I wasn't saying Nintendo fans don't buy third party games. Clearly they do. But Nintendo fans like a certain type of game. I think Skylanders might have done better on the Wii U then COD. Nintendo fans in general have a higher expectation for games to be there best, and since BO2 wasn't the better version, and since most Wii owners all ready have 360 or PS3, why buy the inferior version? This is Activision's fault. Not Nintendo's.
skylanders is on the wiiu..correct?
Edit: I figured out my quoating is getting messed up because of me replying with the wii U , strange it used to work find maybe I'm doing something wrong.

A free commercial during one of the most heavily watch presentations ever. And who knows... perhaps sony is offering other incentives. Either way, doesn't excuse him saying what he said. He basically lied about the specs. He hasn't even tried it on the Wii U.
The guy said something stupid with an agenda. He doesn't deserve to be crucified, but he does deserve to be labelled a deceptive sellout.
True.
and what is hilarious is that that crappy source, horribly compressed, low resolution screen taken from an early build video of "X" looks better than the phony 4K resolution (when PS4 games don't render or output in 4k... those extra pixels have to come from somewhere... ) "screenshot" from The Witness.
It's shameful.
I dont remember sony ever saying their games are in 4k
Again I messed up the quote .....

I dislike your use of streotyping Nintendo fans in one group. I like all genres , I dont just buy Nintendo games , I dont want third parties to Nintendofy their games to get them sold on Nintendo systems. Its true I know some Nintendo fans like to stay in a nintendo only bubble and would prefer to stop gaming than to touch a third party game but that not all of us.
Edit: how did I messed that quote up.

#176867 Explain, what is the appeal of Monster Hunter Franchise?

Its not an rpg. Some people would argue it is, but if you use their logic, EVERY game is an RPG.
Story is inconsequential. And tri has the most in depth story in the series. And its irrelevant.
There are no levels, no experience points, no grinding for character stat improvements to make monsters easier.
All stats are directly tied to the armor worn, and the armor can pretty much only be aquired by killing monsters and then wearing them as armor.
You are not a badass like in other games, slaughtering oversized underpowered lobotomized enemies by the hundred with no effort required.
You hunt the badasses. You are small, fragile, slow, and weak. Like a human compared to any real large animal. Your power comes from the fact you are smarter than animals.
Because you will NEVER be stronger than them. No matter what (almost what) equipment you have, the lowliest monster will still destroy clueless hunters. Because youbare not the badass. The monster is.
Like in the demo. Those armors and weapons are INCREDIBLY high ranking, and the monsters are low level 2 star mission monsters. And they are kicking a lot of butts.
Hell one armor and weapon set is made from the boss of monster hunter tri's single player campaign.
Which is where the appeal in monster hunter lies. Its HARD and there no tricks, no cheats, and no easy way outs. You HAVE to have the skills, or you will not advance.
This makes each victory over a new monster a monumental acheivment that feels incredible, a feeling that you will simply not find in other games. Because you dont actually acheive anything in comparison.
Past that are things like combining items to discover new items, enhancing stats through armor and gem customization, unlocking skills like the ability to run longer, attack faster, do more damage, poison immunity etc, by mixing and matching armor skill points and using gems in armor slots.
Gathering resources to properly prepare for hunts, (gathering the raw resources to make potions etc), mining ore required for various reasons, and building up the cities economy (which basically makes hunt preperation go much, much, faster).
What he said,I Iiked the demo but I guess I also played tri on the wii even if I only played online since I didn't consider myself good enough to solo a monster but that being said the demo's bunny was actually for me pretty easy haven't tried the hard mission yet.

Is that so hmm after the 8 gigs of gddr5 ram hype is over this might be entertaining considering aswell the ps4 gpu is also only 1.8 tflops.have u noticed in ps4 cpu something very important? Jaguar cores designed for tablets and notebooks and everybody understands that tablet mobility hardware, is away to underpowered, be able to produce as much heat and consumption as possible... Thats why 3dude says all the time that wii U cpu is much more powerful... I give an other clue...
Wii CPU 1 weak core, was able to make 7 instructions per clock... Its jaguar core can do 2 instructions per clock.. 3 modern wii U cores = 12 jaguar cores.
Its more than enough for ps4 and 720 to have their physx run on that though... but its away to much for wii U also.

Nintendo is extremely secretive on everything from tech to games nowdays. Why do we know more about the ps4 than the Wii U at this point?! By time they produce a good looking game I will have the next consoles from xbox and PS and all this spec stuff will be moot.

Yes it hasnt been stated this is theorycrafting but I assume its not enough to pay for large server farms considering how important said servers are going to be.Your making assumptions, how much does sony make of playsdtation plus subscriptions for example? As far as I know it hasn't been publicly stated.
note: This isn't a nintendo fanboy thread I am honestly curious remember I used to be a big onlive fan.

Now we know sony bought gaikai a cloud base company and they are going to offer ps3/2/1 games using that service .
Now as you may know that means the hardware is going to be on their side ..how will Sony pay for the hardware ..what I mean is either they have tons of previous gen consoles running the cloud servers hardware which I doubt or they are emulating using massive server farms both methods are far from cheap and require upkeep even more so if they also offer ps4 demos to be streamed which means the need for even more massive server farms to emulate ps4 games ...
It sounds nice on paper but it comes with large cost as cloud gaming server of the past like onlive can attest to.
I'm going to assume you may need to have a subsciption to play online since I know ps plus users alone wont be able to pay for said upkeep and even than it might not be enough.
