#238880 Pikmin 3 secret code on PC

Posted by Hikaruchu on 12 August 2013 - 04:37 PM in Wii U Games and Software

In this miiverse post by Miyamoto, he says that the files can be only accessed on the Wii U browser.

If for some reason you don't want to use the Wii U browser, you can access it on a computer. In order to do this set your browser's user agent to

Mozilla/5.0 (Nintendo WiiU) AppleWebKit/534.52 (KHTML, like Gecko) NX/2.1.0.8.23 NintendoBrowser/1.1.0.7579.EU

If you dont know how, here is a link showing how

#236061 LED question on Wii U

Posted by Hikaruchu on 30 July 2013 - 05:41 PM in Wii U Hardware Help

This means that the Wii U is downloading updates for games / the system.
When the download finishes the LED goes red.

#233050 Miyamoto wishes Nintendo went HD sooner with the Wii

Posted by Hikaruchu on 18 July 2013 - 08:38 PM in Wii U Hardware

I kinda wish the Wii had been HD, not because I have a specific issue with non HD games, but because it would have let nintendo learn HD alongside everyone else.

Nintendo would have had PS3 launch titles at first, but they would get better graphics as time passed.

This would have prevented Nintendo from scrambling to learn 3 years of HD in a short time now.

#233047 Where do you see Nintendo, Sony & Microsoft in 3 years? Good and Bad.

Posted by Hikaruchu on 18 July 2013 - 08:34 PM in General Gaming

Nintendo

Good:

The 3DS will continue to dominate the handheld market and the Wii U will get more 3rd party support and improve and likely end up in second

Bad:

The Wii U wont be another Wii and sell huge amounts or as much as the PS4

Sony

Good:

The PS4 will likely "win" the 8th generation

Bad:

The whole PS Vita situation

Microsoft:

What everyone else said

#229638 Anyone else bored with Animal Crossing?

Posted by Hikaruchu on 07 July 2013 - 10:18 AM in General Gaming

I always make sure to take as long as possible, so the game will last forever.

For example, I just got the second house expansion even though I play every day.

I actually like how games look on the XL, so XL for me.

#224626 Hard Drive Random crash

Posted by Hikaruchu on 20 June 2013 - 12:07 PM in Wii U Hardware Help

While playing games off of the HDD it will sometimes randomly crash, and I will get error code 160-0105

This doesn't happen while transferring data in settings or loading games from the menu, but it seems most often while a level is loading or something like that.

My hard drive gets power from the wall, so power isn't the issue.

I was also wondering if anyone else has been having this issue.

#203473 Super Smash Bros. 4 Discussion Thread

Posted by Hikaruchu on 03 May 2013 - 11:45 AM in Wii U Games and Software

That's not what tournaments are for. Tournaments are for determining who has more skill, not who is closer to a better item when it drops.  When you're playing for fun, not super competitive, then items are fine. Why would you want items in a tournament of skill?

I think tournaments should measure how good you are at the game. If luck is a part of the game, then it should be included.

I hope that people will play with items during tournaments. Also I hope that more random and possibly match ruining things will happen!

#203031 What is your favorite legendary pokemon over all?

Posted by Hikaruchu on 02 May 2013 - 12:21 PM in General Gaming

Giratina, it was the first legendary I caught, (in diamond), and it was with a poke ball. It was also my first level 100.

#200464 Are blue shells ruining Mario Kart for you?

Posted by Hikaruchu on 26 April 2013 - 03:24 PM in Wii U Games and Software

I like them, I never played mario cart as a "fair" racing game. I always liked how the game was so crazy and you could go from first to last in 10 seconds.

#193627 Favorite Mario Villain

You forgot count bleck, who is by far the most awesome villain, maybe tied with the shadow queen.

I second that!

#192378 My voice acting debut

Is that really you?!? You have talent and should persue that as a living.

Gosh, thanks!

#192370 My voice acting debut

Posted by Hikaruchu on 09 April 2013 - 08:34 PM in The Museum

For my first attempt at voice acting, I chose the scene where the Shadow Queen is resurrected.

This is from Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door, if you were wondering.
Here is the video.

I love how my Shadow Queen turned out, but Beldum just sounds so silly!

#191591 Sending in a jacked up gamepad to Nintendo

Posted by Hikaruchu on 08 April 2013 - 12:40 PM in Wii U Hardware Help

It cost $100.00 just to replace your old Wii U Gamepad.

Only if you were the reason the gamepad needs fixing. It sounds like it came defective, so the repairs will be almost free.

#191398 What was your scariest moment in a Nintendo game back then?

Posted by Hikaruchu on 07 April 2013 - 07:48 PM in General Gaming

I just had to find this at 11 P.M.

#191396 Sending in a jacked up gamepad to Nintendo

Posted by Hikaruchu on 07 April 2013 - 07:43 PM in Wii U Hardware Help

Nintendo is very nice with replacing items in my experiences. I think Nintendo will replace the gamepad for free or a fraction of the cost.

#189011 Death in Games

Posted by Hikaruchu on 01 April 2013 - 03:57 PM in General Gaming

Lives originally were created for just money. The arcade game makers just wanted more cash. They wanted people to keep paying money to play the game so lives were created.
