#204667 WiiKey U is legit and its in Development!

Posted by WaddleDee on 07 May 2013 - 04:38 AM in Wii U Hardware

This crap really shouldn't get supported, Wii U is having it rough as it is.. Every person that decides to pirate a game instead of buying it, thus not appearing in the sales chart, is just helping destroy the game development for Wii U more, and more, and more.

#200450 Do you regret getting the Wii U?

Posted by WaddleDee on 26 April 2013 - 02:39 PM in Wii U Hardware

I've loved my Wii U from the start.

The "game draught" everyone spoke about didn't apply to me.

Honestly, the whole "game draught" excuse seems more of a way to say "hey, I don't have money to buy more than 2 games for the Wii U so I need to be ABSOLUTELY 100% SURE that this is the perfect game for me before I buy it" which obviously doesn't apply to a lot of games, unless you've played it before.

#194908 Rayman Legends delay results in 30 new levels, several new boss fights

Posted by WaddleDee on 15 April 2013 - 10:09 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I can respect this, considering it wasn't the developers' choice to delay the game.

Damn you top hats who don't know anything about gaming!

#192722 Monster Hunter Update Coming April 16th

Can't wait to play with all you silly americans.

#192720 Lego City codes.

Posted by WaddleDee on 10 April 2013 - 02:22 PM in Wii U Games and Software

Thanks a lot! I was already hoping for a gorilla suit once I saw those fellas walking around in the main city.

#192719 Lego City Undercover ?

Posted by WaddleDee on 10 April 2013 - 02:20 PM in Wii U Games and Software

collectibles are addicting

This! I think I've spent the last 10 hours, since I got to the main city, doing nothing but looking for collectibles, disguises and wrecking the city for super-build blocks.

This game is amazing, I didn't expect the humor to be so childishly adult, either. It's childish but a kid wouldn't get it, as there's a lot of references to movies, other games, etc etc

#192718 WiFi works better than a Wii LAN/ethernet adapter! [FIXED ON WiiU OS 3.0]

Posted by WaddleDee on 10 April 2013 - 02:17 PM in Wii U Hardware

this IS an unofficial adapter

My wireless is incredibly slow on all my devices (including Wii U) but using the official Wii ethernet adapter the connection speed skyrockets to heaven.

If it's bothersome, I'd really recommend trying the official adapter. It's not that expensive if I remember correctly.

I really want that pumpkin armorset, it looks hilarious.

But damn, you really need a lot of rare commendations..

#187819 Wii U won't be getting Unreal Engine 4

Posted by WaddleDee on 29 March 2013 - 12:58 PM in Wii U Hardware

I don't really give a rainbow.

I currently spend all my time enjoying Monster Hunter and Lego City, if they keep coming up with these totally-not-graphic-focused games that run fine on the Wii U and are mostly played by the Nintendo-type of people, then I'm fine with anything.

#185039 Official Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Discussion

Posted by WaddleDee on 21 March 2013 - 02:56 PM in Wii U Games and Software

I've had it since wednesday despite being from Europe.

Hasn't it been out since the 19th in NA?

And aren't NA and EU servers connected for online play?

If so, I'm seriously worried. There's like 200 people online.

#182029 How is Monster Hunter Popular?

Posted by WaddleDee on 12 March 2013 - 02:14 PM in Wii U Games and Software

The demo is a terrible representative for the actual game.

In the actual game you have to build up your armor by gathering materials from these giant monsters, You fight a ton of them in different areas, there's towns, different quests aswell that don't always involve these monsters. Besides that the strong point of MH has always been the incredible community-feel it gives and the fun factor of the online gameplay, that's why it has never been as popular in NA/EU as in JP.

As for what you said. The graphics are mediocre because it's a direct "expansion" of the last game on the Wii (sort of). I don't see how the gameplay is extremely dated. The slow-sluggishness was intended and depends on your weapon aswell. Wouldn't be very fair if you were a wallclimbing ninja vs a giant-slow monster, would it? The control system is fine, it just takes time to get used to. As with a lot of console games. The camera system might be bad because you're just not used to controlling that like you have to in Monster Hunter.

Your points are all pretty valid considering the incredible failure of a demo they've put out. They should've added a multiplayer demo, that way you would really get to see the "power" of Monster Hunter.

#181690 Monster Hunter Tournament

Posted by WaddleDee on 11 March 2013 - 12:12 PM in Wii U Games and Software

Each monster has it's own Top 3 time rank. Does that clarify the rules for you?

Won't that require an incredible amount of participants?

I'd say a smarter system would be to set up team divisions, like 2-person division and then make them fight a specific set of monsters, the team that beats the most monsters the fastest are proclaimed the winner.

#181682 Monster Hunter Tournament

Posted by WaddleDee on 11 March 2013 - 11:57 AM in Wii U Games and Software

I can't say I fully understand..

So one team could pick Alatreon and the other team Great Jaggi. Obviously Great Jaggi team is going to win on the time limit, does that make them the winners?

June seems so far away..

#178272 Crysis 3 was running on Wii U, “close to launching”, but canned

Posted by WaddleDee on 02 March 2013 - 11:19 AM in General Gaming

Does this mean EA has already given up on the Wii U/Nintendo in general?

Since Crysis is arguably one of their most beloved published games. And they didn't even bother getting that on the Wii U.

#178270 Really ! Still no zen pinball after 3 month's 3 month's wow

Posted by WaddleDee on 02 March 2013 - 11:15 AM in Wii U Games and Software

And on WiiU I payed 10 for Cave Story, where on the WiiU did you get it for free. We are talking WiiU here after all.

Are we talking Cave Story or The Cave? I don't remember Cave Story being on the Wii U, WiiWare sure but not Wii U.

This thread has given me the need to both try, and avoid Zen Pinball again. When I first tried it, I didn't notice a single thing like the RPG elements that were mentioned earlier in this thread. It was just pinball.

#178124 Activision "Very upset" with sales for Black Ops II for the Wii U.

Posted by WaddleDee on 02 March 2013 - 02:42 AM in Wii U Hardware

I'm not even sure why they expected to reach the community that buys a console for games where you save princesses, dress up in funny outfits for funny powers, fight turtles that dance to the game's music and such with their first person army-themed shooter.

And yeah, not opening your wallet for every port on the market sure means you're all talk.

#177982 MH3 Not what I was expecting

Posted by WaddleDee on 01 March 2013 - 02:38 PM in Wii U Games and Software

This is why I ALWAYS discourage people to play demos for a future game from a series, the smarter move is to just pick up an earlier game from the same franchise to see what the game really is about.

They really ruined it for themselves with the MH demo though, Monster Hunter isn't a game you can just pick up and play if you haven't played it before, anyway. And then they further ruin it by just letting you loose in a mission like  you're instantly supposed to know what to do.

People arn't going to like your game when all they do is run around without knowing what they're doing, resulting in death by a giant monster.

#177067 Wii U sales fall below PS Vita's for the first time

Posted by WaddleDee on 27 February 2013 - 10:13 AM in Wii U Hardware

If that were the case, Japan would have an install base of around 80 million right now.

Yeah, I forgot to add the dramatization.

Still, it wouldn't be the first insane number Japan comes up with.

#177065 Sakurai's Arm Injury Impacts His Work On Smash Bros.

From experience I can say there isn't a lot worse than the constant aching pain you get from muscle ruptures.

#177064 Assassins Creed 4 black flags (rumor)

Posted by WaddleDee on 27 February 2013 - 10:07 AM in General Gaming

Pirates are still okay.

However, the way we're going now I fear we'll be playing as Phil the british assassin during World War II in Assassin's creed 7.

#177063 Wii U sales fall below PS Vita's for the first time

Posted by WaddleDee on 27 February 2013 - 10:04 AM in Wii U Hardware

Wii U sold 9633 units in Japan last week

Doesn't like.. 70% of Japanese households already have a Wii U?

#170690 Aliens: Colonial Marines 4.5/10 at IGN

Posted by WaddleDee on 12 February 2013 - 10:32 AM in General Gaming

Still waiting for the Wii U release.

I've learned (atleast compared to my taste in games) there are more disappointing reviews out there then there are games.

#170184 Getting Tired of Hearing the Same Argument

Posted by WaddleDee on 11 February 2013 - 10:53 AM in Wii U Games and Software

The only real argument I've seen that can even be taken into consideration when rating the Wii U in a negative manner would be the sale numbers compared to the Wii, which still top Xbox and PS sales.

It's normal human psychology, Wii was a failure to most due to the lack of games that the Xbox and PS did get. People have grown more into the Xbox and PS due to this, and as you know: What people choose is the right choice, what they reject is the wrong choice. It's SERIOUSLY normal human psychology, and that's why you shouldn't even bother reading reviews or comments people make.

Wow, that gameplay actually looked extremely enjoyable.

I can't wait for this.
