I gotta stop finding cool stuff to learn lol.

Oh! Well, you can make clay-motion by using Play-Dough. :)

Lol I'll keep that in mind but I'm not really into film related media. I'm more of an inert artist. Thanks for the idea though.

Do you make your own clay?

No I use fimo. Lol I have no use for handmade clay. That's not my art media

You've lost me also. I'm confused.

You asked me why not do it by hand? All my clay sculpting IS by hand so I have no clue what you meant lol.

#164747 Pokemon X and Y

Posted by Quillsy on 29 January 2013 - 10:11 PM in General Gaming

This has majorly pissed me off. Surely Nintendo would want to focus on the WIIU?! I mean come on, I was expecting the new Pokemon to be on the Wiiu. Jesus christ.

They may be Pokemon over here but the original name is POCKET Monsters. They go in your pocket. Wii U does not fit in a pocket. So they belong on handhelds lol.

They have a magazine that shows artwork Game Informer I believe it was called, any type of art is eligible and you get paid for 1st prize. You can apply for all the issues one at a time I believe.

Waaaaaaaaaaaait......those winners get money? I never realized they got money O_o.

]I know its no longer in publication you could always get some old used issues on ebay or something. I still like reading back issues. BTW I will always be willing to talk to you in the chat after my chat ban is up.

Lol we re-read all the issues we've ever gotten of GameInformer too. You were banned?

Pretty damn boss, great work now make me a Pickachu wearing a Mario hat! xD

That is actually an adorabe image lol. I'll definitely put that on my list of ideas. I have a ton of artsy hobbies so that list is a bit long O: Clay Sculpting, Chain Maille, Drawing, Painting.....and more lol.

Cool. You should make a clay-motion out of them.

Lol I bake my clay so I don't think that would work.

I love the shield!

Thanks! It's definitely my favorite. I wear it a LOT. Like every chance I can get. It's stood up well so far too.

If they still had Nintendo Power your work could have been featured in the back.

They did that? I never got to have Nintendo Power...but then I never really had any magazine subs lol. Not till I started getting GameInformer as a side bonus to having a GameStop rewards account.

That's freakin' cool! Awesome job, Quillsy!

 Thank you! I had never used clay before. The Hylian shield was the second time I used clay and the hairsticks were the 4th. I actually sold a few things made from clay but...that didn't end well....because people suck.

I made these a while back but I plan on more later on this year. Hand sculpted, baked and hand painted :D

#164545 Your first game system?

Posted by Quillsy on 29 January 2013 - 10:13 AM in The Café

The first one I played was NES (I wasn't big enough to mess with the Atari when dad still had it lol) but it was technically my dad's. First one bought for me was SNES. First handheld was the original brick gameboy. I still have both. Gameboy is in storage though.

So for consoles I have personally had: SNES, N64, PS2, GameCube, PS3, Wii and now Wii u.
Handhelds: Original Gameboy, Sega Gamegear, Gameboy Color, GBA, GBA SP, DS, DS lite, DSi, 3DS and Vita.
