#168018 Error code 1-0001

Ok, so the kids were trying to sync a new controller, and start a game at the same time. The handheld device showed this error, I think it was 1-0001. I could shut off the hand held, but console would not shut off. tried like several times, still console would'nt turn off. So I power cycled the thing and it worked again, except the hand held was saying low signal from console from just a few feet, when we have played it just fine from accross the room......hopw it didn't jack something up.... any one got any info or tips on this error?

So after reading rules.....Im an older guy with 4 kids. just got rid of my xbox, and wii, and picked up the wii u. We all are enjoying the new features of this console....even with the only wii u game of nintendo land. (we stil have a couple of wii games) Der yu go

So I just bought a wii u couple of days ago. Came with nintendo land. Any recomendations? Looking at The Cave.........................any good?
