My local Gamestop said they aren't even doing a 9am opening anymore for Wii U. Regular time at 10am. Lame!

I live in NA, there are no consoles. I'm going to TRY to get it on launch day but if not, I don't know when I am getting it since the wait list for GameStop isn't reliable.

If it's 1 Day shipping, it's always gonna be at least Tuesday. Because No post on Sundays.. They gotta ship it out Monday, and it arrives Tuesday..
I'm getting my Wii U Sunday since I pre-ordered in store, but my NSMBU is coming Tuesday due to gift card I got.
Either way, I'm still good cause I already got my Scribblenauts Unlimited for Wii U, and Sunday I'm getting Disney Epic Mickey 2 with my Wii U :D

Can't remember what game it was, but the same situation with the Sunday release date came up. I got day 1 shipping, and got it Monday, I assume it will be here Monday, like the previous package.

I don't understand why so many people are worried about the Wii Us tech, if it looks cool then just buy it have some fun. When I'm slaying Ganondorf the last thing ill be thing about is how many pixels are on the screen or how fast the parts inside a box are computing.

I really hope this gets a great review - a bad one will really deflate this launch a bit for me. I remain hopeful however...I mean come on..it looks so awesome.

And I brought up paid reviews just as another point as I put in support reviews. Not trying to put words in your mouth, but bringing up another point. you didn't offend me at all. im not saying that the nintendo reviews are all exaggerated(infact i bet most of them arent), i just don't trust any websie such as ign when it comes to reviews. its such a commercial website and its such a big name. there have been some pretty good games with much over praise (cough halo 4)

Bad news, while I was picking up Scribblenauts Unlimited from GameStop today. I asked about the midnight launch, the employee told me that Nintendo was forbidding any launch of the Wii U before 9AM on the 18th. Has anybody else received this response? I'd say double check with your store. Though I will go by tomorrow and double check with the manager about this.

I know the head guy @ my gamestop. No midnight because its a sunday. He will try to open an hr sooner on sunday tho. Said call him sat before they close for a checkup.
