You should take another look at last gen games. Im replaying Metal gear rising right now, platinums last big ps360 game and graphically, it is getting blown out of the water.

Not only is their a LOOOOOOOT more simultaneous enemies in tw101, including big enemies, but aside from the ant sized ones their polycounts and textures are putting rising to shame, in comparison, rising looks very, very blocky and blurry.... and very very tiny and claustrophobic.

And also, ps360 games dont use polygons to write the speed limits on the ground, and for writing on signs. In no way shape or form could tw101 be brought to 360 in tact, not gameplay, not enemy count, not art style, especially not art style, tw101 uses polygons for detail work the entire 360/ps3 generation used normal maps to hide, and games designed like tw101, large scale zoomed out view, didnt ever come anywhere near to remotely close to tw101's fidelity when zoomed in like tw101 constantly does.

I am not as knowledgable as ou when it comes to tech. I just wish there were more games available on Wii U that has a more realistic artstyle so these differences can be shown. I am not saying it is right but people do disregard games from being technical achievments because of artstyle and we know nintendo usually goes with a more toon look and style to their games and I am not saying their is anything wrong with that. I am pumped to see what Zelda U does visually but it might be a new METROID that show what Wii U can really do or whatever it is Retro games is working on now.

Speaking also on W101. It's not just graphics and resolution you have to look at. I'd point out that not only does the game itself look great, but it's SO stable in terms of framerate. I've gone through all but the hardest difficulty so far and I don't think I've ever seen the frame rate drop even one time. That's pretty impressive compared to last night when I was playing Ninja Gaiden 3 which has some pretty bad dips in frame rate.

I think Lego Batman 2 is also a pretty good example. The Wii U version takes advantage of the gamepad for a second screen (in multi-player mode) so you don't have to Wii with dynamic split screen, and everything loads so fast compared to the PS3 version. I dont know about the graphics fidelity comparison though, but for $20 it's a really awesome game (once you get past the no Pro controller support)

not anything like a deal breaker or even making the game less fun... but I experienced slow downs on many ocassions in the game. especially the battles with the prince guy that had all the same moves as you did... dont remember his name voulkan or something like that... the one that wonder pink was in love with..

You said you only played it once right? Not sure if that was slowdowns.

I said i played a FULL PLAYTHROUGH once. so yes within that full playthough i experienced slowdowns on multiple occassions. nothing like a gamebreaker but with all that was going on onscreen I was not surprised.

Just weird since I've been through the game multiple times and never seen any slowdowns. Except you know, when time slowed down.

The trophy 23 fix patch also fixed a lot of minor performance issues, like the drops to 40 somethin during the vorken fights. People who played it after probably never noticed much of anything.

Ha ha, intriguing. I really couldn't care less about how powerful it is anymore to be honest. I think they release good looking games and gameplay which is enough to satisfy me.
