Riddle me this.

Example:
Poster 1: Say my name and I disappear. What am I?
Poster 2: Silence, What is it that after you take away the whole, some still remains?
Poster3: Wholesome, Etc etc
So here it goes.
I drift forever with the current
down these long canals they've made
Tame, yet wild, I run elusive
Multitasking to your aid.
Before I came, the world was darker
Colder, sometimes, rougher, true
But though I might make living easy,
I'm good at killing people too.

Is it a knife?
EDIT: Or fire?
Good guess you were close with fire.
Answer is in the box if you're curious.
What starts with a T, ends with a T, and has T in it?

I would say a teapot.
The only decent answer I could think of... But I dunno.
Hehe, very good. Uhm... lemme see if I have a really hard one.
Three brothers share a family sport:
A non-stop marathon
The oldest one is fat and short
And trudges slowly on
The middle brother's tall and slim
And keeps a steady pace
The youngest runs just like the wind,
speeding through the race
"He's young in years, we let him run,"
The other brothers say
"'Cause though he's surely number one,
He's second, in a way."
Not quite sure if it's hard but It's a fun one.

Is it because he's taller than the oldest and smaller than the middle brother?
The riddle is actually talking about an Item you would have in your household. The three brothers are parts of this item, can you figure out the item I am talking about?

Just a reference....: Why is a sparrow like a writing desk
there are multiple answers but if you get the reference you will give the least creative answer.

@SleepyGuyy: I'll admit, first thing that came to mind was Disney's Alice in Wonderland. I believe the answer is 'tea party outrage'.

I had to google it..... i feel stupid. its so obvious after you findout.
Just a reference....: Why is a sparrow like a writing desk

Uhm is it because they both might have quills (Quill pens for old writing desks)? But since it's a specific bird I doubt it's that.
It's not related to a clock is it? The fastest running one would be seconds, hence second. Or something really... you get what I mean.

Yep the riddle is indeed talking about a clock.
The person who makes it, sells it. The person who buys it never uses it and the person who uses it doesn't know they are. What is it?

(Sorry it was Raven , not sparrow.) But yes, and no. It originally came from Alice in Wonderland (Auzzie Wingman ForTheWin), but you know there are many answers, here are a few:Uhm is it because they both might have quills (Quill pens for old writing desks)? But since it's a specific bird I doubt it's that.
(original answer) I haven't the slightest idea. (it supposed to be a joke but a lot of people get bugged that there isnt an answer so they come up with thier own).
Because it can produce a few notes.
Because there is a B in both and an N in neither. (also a joke, by Aldous Huxley, 1928)
It is nevar put with the wrong end in front. (not a typo, but a joke)
Because Poe wrote on both.
Because you cannot ride either one of them like a bicycle.

The answer to your riddle, I believe, is a coffin, good sir.
Here, an easy riddle for my first one:
'What gets wetter as it dries?'
I like my ponies to be a little mixed up. And with Muffins.

Now for a tougher one:
'You can see me,
But you cannot touch me.
I make things lighter,
But not always brighter.
What am I?'
I like my ponies to be a little mixed up. And with Muffins.

Then is it sacrifice? like sometimes you gotta leave stuff behind to "Lighten the load" but even then stuff doesn't get brighter or stuff... But I can see it... so is it... is it lighter gravity (wait a tick I can't see that). Ugh... Did I mention I'm terrible at actually solving riddles... I just find them fascinating. Maybe a fire fly, or Helium.
A levee. If the shotgun strategy doesn't work then I'm kaput. So maybe I got one right? If not Ya stumped me good.

Okay Lets try a few, Is it fire? you can use fire to float a hot air balloon and it burns when you touch it , If it's not.

Well, sorry, it's not any of those, though a couple of them were pretty good guesses. The answer is in the 'spoiler' if you wanna see it.
Here's another riddle for anyone who cares:
'I stand beside the Holy Man,
The Monarch fears my wrath.
None may move the way I can,
Ever the crooked path.'
What am I?
I like my ponies to be a little mixed up. And with Muffins.

The first is a person who lives in disguise who deals in secrets and tells nothing but lies.
Then think of a letter that's last to mend the middle of middle and end of end.
Now think of a sound which is often heard in search of every unknown word.
Put it together and answer me this, which creature would you be unwilling to kiss?
I'm thinking that's a pretty hard one.

I live to be devoured.
Thin I am quick,
Fat I am slow.
Wind is my foe.'
What am I?
