New Metroid (Prime?) announcement at E3?

Probably getting excited over nothing, but am finding it difficult to contain myself even if there's only a very slim chance.. I've replayed the Prime games probably more than anything else released since & am likely to spontaneously combust if a new one is announced.

Doesn't matter really what the sales are. It's not PS4 so it doesn't need to sell 20 million in a year to make any money. What works on Wii U is attach rate. That is something overall Wii U is good for. Most games released for it many Wii U owners have. The console makes profit and overall has a good attach rate so in reality Wii U is fine. MK8 alone is 50%+ attach rate.

The only reason I don't want them to announce one is  because it would mean I need to buy a Wii U and I don't want to spend that kind of money on a console anytime soon ... Especially with the Steam sale a day away.

If they did be 2016 anyway.

I'd prefer if it were for 3DS since I already have one... Although with my luck they'd probably make it New 3DS exclusive.

I prefer it on Wii U. I need Metroid in HD. Besides I think both will get Metroid. Last year said they had a 2D and 3D Metroid in planning stages.
