Hello there, and thank you for joining TheWiiU.com, the world's oldest and largest community dedicated to the Wii U! This is a short guide intended to give you some information on our forums, and help you feel right at home.

First of all, a little background info. Wii U Forums is a joint project between the two leaders in the Wii U blogosphere, Wii U Go (owned by myself, Feld0) and Wii U Blog (owned by David Turnbull). David and I are both co-admins here, but he's in charge of spreading the word about this place while I'm responsible for most of the site's day-to-day activities. If you've got any questions or problems about the site, I'm the guy you'll want to get in touch with via private message.

Our super moderator, AMAC, assists me in helping to keep the peace and enforce our rules. He's a friendly guy, and is also more than capable of helping you out with any non-technical issues with the site or other members. Feel free to contact him anytime, too.

Guides, whose names are in orange, make up our dedicated welcoming committee. Not only is it their duty to greet every newcomer with a personalized message, but they are also the forum's mentors. They know their way around the place and are some of the most helpful people in the community, so feel free to approach them for any non-technical help you may need.

Now, before you start posting, it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the rules, because we will crack down on you if you don't follow them. Disregarding the rules is showing disrespect for Wii U Forums and the team that works tirelessly to keep it running. It also helps us because we can spend our time making the site better for everyone instead of dealing with trouble.

Once you've read the rules, the first thing you should do is start your first topic over in Introduction Central. Say hello, tell us a little about yourself, and Guides as well as other members of the community will welcome you shortly. After that, feel free to explore the forums and post wherever you'd like, just as long as you remember to always abide by the rules.

And that's it! If you need help with anything, IP.Board has an extensive help system that might have the answers you're looking for. If you still can't figure something out, shoot a private message over to the Guide of your choice.

On behalf of the Wii U Forums team, I hope you enjoy your time with us!
