HI Guys, I just recently got a Wii U and was playing it fine for the last 2 days. Yesterday night i was playing with it then left it to do some stuffs while it was still on for probably 30min. When i came back the tv was blank but the gamepad was still on with the game i was still playing. Turned it off and turned it on again but only the gamepad shows image while the tv is still blank. NO blinking blue lights whatsoever though.

Tried everything i could think of like changing my HDMI cables with a brand new ones, changing the HDMI slots on my tv but nothing seems to work. My TV is a Panasonic with Vierra feature.

Any advice or suggestions guys?? I dont want to send it for repair if i can cause i'll lose my purchase from eshop if they replace a new Wii U for me :(

Hmm.. Since you already tried hdmi cables then you should call nintendo and see what they have to say.

I'd have to wait till tomorrow since they're closed for the weekend :(

Going to go try it at my cousins place to see if it works.

I know this is offtopic  but is it possible to backup my game that i bought through eshop wii U?

The TV itself still works, right? You could always try changing the resolution on the Wii U console while you wait for Customer Service to open.

Yup the TV itself works fine. I've tried changing the resolution through the gamepad but it says cant change settings. I just got back from my cousins place and even at their place my Wii U wont display on the TV while theirs fine. Im guessing its the HDMI port issue but who knows...

Just got it and i'll probably have to send it away  :(

You should be able to. Google it and see if you can find any videos on it.

Move the saves to a usb hard drive from data management, but i'm not sure if the hard drive can be used with another wii u or not.

Yeah, i read online that the new Wii U will request to reformat the old hard drive so it wont work but i'll still do it just in case they fix it instead of replacing it that way i still get to keep my save.

Just rang up today and they told me to send it for repair hope they dont replace it and can manage to fix it =(

I'm having the same issue currently actually, I first unplugged and plugged back in everything with no avail.  Then I used the HDMI on a different television, but again with no avail.  I'm wondering if there's anything else I can do to try to fix this before I send it in, as I don't when I'll have the funds to pay for it to be repaired...

Never mind, I had the wrong resolution match-up with my WiiU, not sure when that occurred, but it's fixed now.
