Let's say Iwata decides to hold an experiment and approve just one bite-sized mobile game based on a Nintendo property, either for iOS or Android, which game would you want it to be?

I think it definitely shouldn't be an immersive experience like Zelda or Metroid but something simple with arcade mechanics that can people can play for a few minutes just to be reminded how great Nintendo games are.  A remake of Ice Climbers or Balloon Fight for mobile phones would be perfect for this purpose.

What other Nintendo properties would do well in a game like this?

F-Zero, racing games aren't bad on mobile devices.

If Nintendo goes mobile it will be visionary.  First off, it will require 2 phones.  You have a phone that acts as a screen and one that acts as a controller but has a screen inside it already.  This way you can utilze 2 screens and even turn your 1st phone off and play on the controller.  In true Nintendo style they will advertise it as a telephone that works like your current phone but not exactly.  After much confusion 3rd parties will stop supporting and you'll be stuck with 2 phones you can play mario kart and zelda on.

So to answer your question, I had a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch.

They'll make their controllers work via bluetooth, as is how the wiimote already works, and play games using controllers.

It would make sense that Nintendo release old games on IOS at least to me. It certainly looks like it's a money maker.

Whatever it is, it will be a simpler game. Like the original Yoshi or Dr. Mario. But I expect Nintendo to build the game from scratch, and not just port one of their existing games.

While I understand their general policy of wanting to keep their games on their machines- I don't think that a game like Dr. Mario is so sacred that it would diminish its value to be released on a mobile device.  There's also some slingshot games in Mario Minis that would work well on mobile devices.

I'd imagine that they'd release NES classics like Wrecking Crew.

They call them NES classics.

I call it trolling.

They've already said they won't release their flagship games on mobile and tablet devices. I'd like them to make a series of individual mini-games for those devices. Card games that sort of stuff.
