On the main screen if I have the apps on the tv the controller has the miis, and vice versa, how do I make it so that the same thing shows on both screens?

impossible. you can use another controller to navigate the menu on the tv though.

Not a particularly useful thing to have anyway. Nintendo's time is probably better spent elsewhere.

That would be cool. But it's not possible. Like others have said, it's just not high up on everyone's patch wishlist. I just use the flip button thing on the Wii U gamepad

but what is the point of it being like that? since I cant control what I watch on the tv, just on the gamepad screen.

Everything on the screen can be controller by the pro controller and wii remotes.
I think a better solution would be to be able to have the touchscreen control it's contents while some of the other buttons (joysticks, etc) control the TV

Yeah if they can switch with the tap of a button... what is the point? The TV is meant for Wara Wara plaza any ways.
