Hi, I was not sure if this is the right place to post this but I went ahead with it anyway. So sorry if its the wrong place.

I recently started playing twilight princess but on the Wii U. I have looked at videos online which also say they were recorded from the Wii U but the image quality seems much better than what I am getting even though I am connected through a HDMI cable too.

I was just wondering if there could be something I need to do? A setting I need to change or something simple like that...I don't mind playing with the quality it is right now but it would be much better in higher quality.

So if anyone has any idea's or answers then I will be happy to hear them

Nope, it's from a capture card so they're getting a crisp 1080P image whereas you can only see 480P

Edit: What they'll see is a 480P image just like you, but once the video has been recorded the video itself will be 1080P.

Not much you can do, its an anamorphic widescreen 480p image upscaled to 1080p. The compression from the streaming videos may help smooth out those jaggies, or maybe they recorded from dolphin.

It's so depressing, there are Wii games I want to replay but sometimes it's just too blurry. It gives me a headache. If I had the room I would buy a cheap SD TV and use it for Wii/GC/N64.

Also a lot of the time I cant be bothered with the annoying motion controls on games like mario galaxy, twilight princess, donkey kong etc. where it would be so much better with just a standard controller.

Playing Xenoblade right now on the Wii and while had obvious flaws I think it looks better than trying to play it on the Wii U. No idea why.

I thought the same thing WITH my Wii and tried it on my old 14" CRT thinking it would come across a much sharper picture.  Overall I felt the smaller size just made it more awkward and a slightly more blurry but MUCH bigger picture played better.

On the Wii U, the picture over HDMI is notably better than playing on the Wii over component, on a HDTV.

The only thing you can really do is play on the Gamepad which is closer to Wii resolution but I also find that blurry due to the compression, even on Wii U games.

How to improve the Wii U download speed.

Play it on your gamepad, looks ace. That's what I do with Skyward Sword
