WHAT.
That came out of nowhere. Like I knew he was a bit sick but not that bad.
I feel so sorry for the guy. He was hounded and criticized to the end. I'll miss his slightly awkward English speaking E3 presentations, I'll miss his grand visions for the future of Nintendo and gaming as a whole, and I'll miss his Iwata asks interviews.
Most of all, I'll miss the Nintendo he created. I only hope they can replace him with someone who knows what it means to be Nintendo, not just another console.
Rest in peace Mr Iwata.

Jesus, this is incredibly unexpected.
The man who helped shape the Kirby and Earthbound games. He wasn't even that old.

He didn't attend 2014's E3 either. He was getting surgery to remove the bile duct growth. After then I had assumed he was getting better. Apparently not.

I don't even know how to respond to this. Who's going to be Nintendo's president? Did they have someone get ready in case this happens? This is just all so sudden. May he rest in peace, and my condolences to everyone who knew him personally.

Most all companies have plans in place for something like this. Very unfortunate and sad. RIP

I heard some guy that starts with a T (sorry can't remember), and Miyamoto for now until they find a permenant replacement.
Still hasen't set in to me yet, I don't want to believe this is real

I am still shocked about all this. I harped on Iwata time to time when I got frustrated with Nintendo, but deep down, he really cared about gaming.
RIP Iwata, "Leave luck to heaven".
I think we should have a banner dedicated to Iwata.

This is very sad, I'm shocked, angry and just depressed that this happened. What ever your beliefs were/are about Nintendo, this is bad. This sucks for everybody, I personally never knew the man, but he seemed like a good person. One thing is for sure though, he is a legend and will always be remembered. RIP.

I can only replicate others thoughts when I say that I knew he was sick, but didn't know it was to this level. This deeply saddens me, and I hope Nintendo continues to prosper in his memory.
