This came through my door today, saying that the Love Film service will be available on Wii from September via an app.
Does this mean that we shall see a similar app, or even the same app for WiiU on its release?

This hopefully means it wont be long until we see BBC iPlayer and the rest come to the console.

I'd imagine they wouldn't put all that effort into making an app for a system being replaced in 2 months. Is assume the Wii U would get a lot f existing Wii apps and then some. Not just in the UK, but in all regions.

Hopefully, they have released this at the wrong time though.

Hi, my name is Alph. I live on a planet named Koppai. I am famous for saving my planet from starvation. My best friends are Brittany and Captain Olimar, NOT Captain Charlie. I like surfing the KopNet and playing Kopetball.

If they don't have native apps then the web browser (Note: webkit based) will probably run iPlayer, Iwata said something about flash, html5 and h.264 in that web browser video which I still haven't found a translation for. Though Netflix will be a no go since it runs on Silverlight.

You can get Netflix on your PS3, is this just because they pay for licensing then...?
