Unity is a game development engine that packs quite a bit of punch considering its basic version is available for free. One of its other, most compelling features though is that it allows developers to bring their games to many different platforms much easier than other engines would allow. Luckily, Nintendo has teamed up with the company to make sure Unity will work with the Wii U, “allowing the current 1.2 million registered users to bring their existing titles to Nintendo’s new platform”.
