I am trying to consolidate some of my Wii accessories in preparation for the Wii U launch.

What is everyone's opinion on the Wii U Pro Controller versus the Wii Classic Controller Pro? Do you foresee the Wii U Pro Controller as an all purpose controller for new Wii U games as well as Wii and Virtual Console games? Or will you still hang onto your Wii Classic Controller Pro(s) to use with the older games?

I'm gonna use pro controller as and all purpose controller.

I was once known here as KillerMario, but since I really like Banjo-Kazooie, I changed my display name to show them my respect :)

Wii U Pro Controller>Wii Classic Controller Pro

As a current gen controller, I agree, but I still think maybe the Wii Classic Controller Pro will have a better feel as an NES/SNES controller... or maybe not.

I think I going to use more the gamepad because I really like the idea of the two screens but with fighting games I going to use the pro controller.

I will be using the Gamepad for everything, but the Pro Controller for classic games on the Virtual Console.

I wonder how well that will hold up.. I get the feeling it won't feel as great for certain games.. I also wonder how long term use will feel...

I think the Pro Controller will end up being my primary controller unless the game heavily relays on the gamepad and I've yet to see a title (I'm interested in) do it went. I also think the Pro Controller will feel sturdier and better than the Classic Controller. Also, I hate the cable attachment.. I like the flexibility to move with the controller in my hand without worrying about dangling parts (I'm prone to accidents like this)
