Anyone remember a Kirby game that was shown back in the GC days but never came? Well, people thought Kirby's Epic yarn was that game...it isn't. This one is (see the link).
And it's coming out this year apparently. That was surprising.
Don't get a heart attack EpicKirby.
Don't get too excited though, at this stage it only seems to have a japan release date. :|
It's amazing how the the human mind does not process the the fact I used the word "the" twice in a row in this sentence.

I mean... They never confirmed it to be 'canceled' and it looked like a complete engine from the random video I saw...
Wait... How has Epic Kirby not posted here yet??? O.o?

Personally, I think the Rhythm Heaven game also looks pretty cool, but I'm afraid it's gonna go under in the media.
Anyway, frontpaged with credit.

I found out about this yesterday and am so happy. Kirby is back to the old style, swallowing enemies is back and the trailer looks awesome. This is a day one buy for me. I mean Epic Yarn was an all right game but it had fundamental problems such as not being able to die and not being able to swallow enemies of fly.
I think Kirby fans will be much happier with this game than they were with Epic Yarn, not only that but I've got Kirby DS to look forward to and the 3DS, wowzee this will be a great gaming year.
I can't wait to see some screens and some more videos. Thanks for the thread Play4fun!!! I swear if this doesn't get localised in Europe I will have a heart attack...
Whoa...so that's what happened to it. There seems to be a bit of a trend of GameCube projects being moved to the Wii. It happened with Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario 128, and now Kirby.
Personally, I think the Rhythm Heaven game also looks pretty cool, but I'm afraid it's gonna go under in the media.
Anyway, frontpaged with credit.
Cool Feld0 ... wait a sec...When I click on your link it says google chrome cannot find  how could you tease me like that???? Don't worry I'll just go to the main site

He accidentally added 2 of "http://"
Oops...I guess that's what happens when I type my URL's out by hand while I'm excited. Fixed.

You know that we launched “Kirby’s Epic Yarn” late last year in Japan and in the U.S. But it’s been a while since we launched the previous home console version of the Kirby game where Kirby can inhale enemies, spit them out and morph, but a team at Hal Laboratory, Inc. is developing a new Wii game from the "Kirby’s Dreamland" franchise now. Please watch this.
We are also planning to release this new Kirby software this year.
Sorry, no smoking vomiting stationary game machines.
