Uk Wii U Update

Hi guys got my new wii U home today and when i connected it to the internet it said i needed an update which then failed
and gave me an error message about contacting nintendo everytime i try to start netflix or youtube it says i need an update
and if i choose to download the update it says my console is up to date even though the firmware version is still 1.0.1 E
slightly confused do i need to just wait it out and hopefully its something there end thaks guys

i bet they dont activate the uk servers till the 30th, arggggg

yes im really hoping so and thats the case weird that it even tried to start something in the first place though i have all the apps like netflix etc but it only recognized there was an update the first time i tried to do it now it just says its up to date hmmmm :(

thanks alan and if anyone was wondering why i have mine so early i work for Game and staff where allowed to purchase theres early was so looking forward to some netflix in bed haha but thanks for the heads ups anyways lovin it so far

just wondering it says on the nintendo uk site that the latest update is 2.0.0 and that its live suppose i should ignore that then

I got mine today and I had the same problem, so will have to wait till Friday (I hope)!

You'll definitely be able to on the 30th, Nintendo may open them on the 29th or something if you're lucky.

If you can play games and use other online services you should be good.

NoE are probably still working on the 2.0 update translations and stuff.

yeah the update should go live by the 30th or 29 night, meanwhile... time to play games

Coolio, at least I know the update should be up when I get home from the midnight launch but Nintendo Europe can be very lazy sometimes :(
