New wiiU I need help with the gamepad -.-

Help WiiU gamepad

My game pad keeps saying that it needs to be closer to the console and to turn it off then on again once it is, but ..I'm close enough already.

How close is close to you? Feet wise?
And try unpluging the system for a min and then replug it up.

It's about 5 feet, I did! I actually disconnected it and even erased all of its memory to start over and still nothing
