Mike Capps, the President of Epic Games has said the company is “very interested in the Wii U.” He explains that:
We find that the best way to support a platform is to be making a game for it and we don’t currently have a game in development for that platform. For example, we don’t officially support Android, although we have demos that work on Android… But we officially support iPhone because we’ve made a game and we know it works.
And that seems to suggest Epic Games could very well be working on demos for the Wii U right now. Going by their policy though it could be a while before we really hear about anything in development.
Don’t expect to see Gears of War on the Wii U, but it wouldn’t be too surprising if Bulletstorm 2 or something else along those lines popped up at next year’s E3.
