I was thinking of a cool idea. When the forum awards come someone needs to create banners the winners can use in their signatures saying the year,their username,the award they one,and their place in the rankings. The winners can have their banners sent via PM by a member of the moderating team.

Not really. The forum awards aren't really meant to be more than an inside joke to the forum and a bit of popularity. It's fine if egos are boosted, but egos don't need to be that boosted.
Remember the awards are not even handled by the staff, it is really by the users (and by users, I pretty much mean one user).

They're not supported by the forum staff thankfully.

Yeah, I don't think that would work. People could make deals like "I'll like your posts if you vote for me in the awards so I win a banner". It would end up bad.

I already currently like the user made forum awards, I think doing this would take it too far.
