GameStop.com won't be shipping out their preorders for Lego City: Undercover until Friday, March 22, 2013 according to the page for the game.

Have to pick mine up today, was in Target last night and saw the placeholder spot for the game. Game guide was already on the shelf as well . It is nice to see some new titles populate the shelves... Lego City, Walking Dead, Monster Hunter, NFSMW U.

I just called Gamestop, and supposedly their stores will have them tomorrow.

Best buy sent me an email saying my order for Lego city was backordered till between march 29 and april 9th, but if i found a phsyical copy i could just go pick it up from the store, as luck would have it the local best buy has them in stock, so i think i'll just go pick up my copy today before work.

Yeah. I was at GameStop last night. Worker said earliest would be tomorrow and latest Friday. Gonna be getting two pre-order figs. They did have Pikachu XLs. Got to see one of them.

I was in Gamestop on Sunday and the guys there told me that they had already received their shipment of Lego. 

 

So I went in last night to pick up my copy (pre-ordered) because I received a Text Message from them telling me to come in and pick it up.

 

Guess what?........

 

When I went in at 8:20 last night they told me that they had not not received the shipment yet!!!

 

Um.... what?

 

So I'm gonna call them in a little while to see if they received them today.

 

I just wanna play this damn game!!!!

GameStop dropped the ball on this one it's pretty bad when Walmart gets copies on street date before GameStop I got mine Tuesday and I love it. Game stop lost a sale on this one!

Picked mine up today at Gamestop. Being I ordered it in November for a December launch, the 2 day wait wasn't that bad.

I called again yesterday afternoon after their shipments arrived and.......... they still haven't received the game yet.

 

I had to go to Target anyways so I picked up a copy there.

 

When I feel like going down to Gamestop this weekend I'm simply gonna say "Please take my Paid In Full Pre-Order for Lego: CU and put that $50 towards Walking Dead: SI. Thank you very much.

 

BTW - played Lego for a few hours last night with our daughter (4 1/2) and we loved it!!!!!!

you seem very patient for the situation and what they told you... i would be more furious.

Glad to hear you got it... but if they screwed with you on Lego City, you should just take your business elsewhere.

Yeah I'm a pretty patient dude most of the time.

 

I will say that I was pretty upset when I had to explain to our 4 year old daughter that we couldn't play the game together that night because the store didn't get it yet.

 

That was very tough....

 

But the way I look at it is like this: it's certainly not going to get me anywhere by complaining to the employee's/manager at Gamestop. Seeing as not a single employee has yet to apologize for the delay to me yet. I know it isn't personally their fault but a little customer service goes a long way in my book.

 

I will be heading down there soon to either get me $50 back or grab a different game with it.

 

Either way the situation sucks and they have handled it very poorly.

 

I'm just happy that I got the game and my daughter and I were able to play it last night.

 

When I woke her up this morning the first thing she says to me is

"Daddy can we play the Lego game?"

To which I say "Not now honey, we have to get ready to go but we can play after dinner tonight." 

"Awe.... okay."
