Well it seem as the go to excuse now is not enough resources and big enough team to make the game great on Wii U.

Here is an obvious prediction, 3rd party will always be crap on wii u, deal with it, start saving to buy one of the other consoles people.

I think I'ma have to agree with this. Damn, I'm gonna be so freaking poor by the end of the year. I think I'll play Nintendo games exclusively (almost) on the Wii U.

No sig.

I think it's the same thing with BF4 as it was with Crysis 3: Developers wanted a WiiU-Version, but EA(**hole) said no.

battlefield will eventually end up like crysis 3....  they will spam us for a year " this never happened before" " we are the best" "there is nothing better than that "...

but when it get released, few will buy it (maybe on xbox360 and ps3) but at that time, everybody will jump into the new systems, so...... hahaha lol

1) origin on pc

2) 0 fanbase in ps4 and 720

only xbox360 and ps3 may sell some...

Things aren't looking good for the Wii U.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

DICE creative director Lars Gustavsson has confirmed that Battlefield 4 won’t be coming to Wii U. Speaking about Wii U Gustavsson said that the team would rather play it safe and ensure that the team deliver something good rather than risking the project by spreading the team too thin.

“I think overall for me as creative director, number one is to deliver a really great game and experience. Sometimes, at least for us, it’s focus on what you do well and what you know well, and ensure that you deliver something good than trying a bit too much, stretching yourself too thin and risking it.”

“I’d rather play it safe, deliver something really good and then look at the future and what could possibly be done than trying a bit too hard and [failing].”

For those that play this type of game, then I suppose it sucks that it's not coming to Wii U. But for those that don't play games like this, I wouldn't have bought it anyway. I think once Nintendo gets more first party titles there will be better 3rd party support. Still though, I'd have to agree with the above statement that 3rd party on Nintendo consoles will always kinda suck.

Large console games are already skipping the Wii U in favor of LAST gen systems? Haha... wow. I thought the Wii U was going to attract 3rd party titles? If the Wii U is getting passed over now, imagine what will happen when the 720 / PS4 hit their strides next year.

The Nintendolts can blame "Lazy developers" all you want... but the facts are this:

Poor install base

Poor CPU/GPU specs

Gimmicky controller that deters from enjoyment instead of adding to it.

RIP Nintendo.

wouldnt worry about it

its the same crap over and over again

battlefield 3 was a brillant game to start of with, story was short, multiplayer was fun until the rent a server fiasco and i stopped playing

then the dlc is crap at best is worst than the disc maps...

DICE and EA need to ask a lot questions before people will buy this game again

also to the xbox 360 and ps3 players its a bloody game so stotp spending 20 hours a day on it

Bleh wouldn't have bought the game anyway. Goes to show that EA has no balls what so ever. So they're going to "play it safe" rather than improve the franchise. Way to go.

That's a pretty clever excuse.... Though it may be legit, I mean, they did just part ways with their CEO. Perhaps they don't feel they are in a position to take a risk and spend money on developing the game for a console with a relatively small user base. Shooter games tend to be hot, trendy titles, not evergreen titles like platformers or puzzle games.
