It'll probably use DX 10/11 equivalent (I'm still sure at a push they would do DX11 equivalent) PC textures and effects at 720p at 30 frames. The draw distance will be better than  PS360's, frequency of loading times may remain the same as PS360. However my prediction is that it will have longer loading times than the PS360, don't know why just a hunch.

BUT PS4/720s will have better draw distance, framerate, resolution, less frequent and quicker loading times. Maybe some exclusive gameplay/DLC with the PS4 version like they're doing with Black Flag with PS3

Nope.  More RAM =/= better draw distance.  The draw distance will be the same across all of the next gen platforms, and PC.  Where they actually have RAM and power limitations they will run into on last gen systems, they may reduce LOD and draw distance there.  How many times do we have to go through this?  Most multiplats that come to Wii U will look IDENTICAL to the other consoles aside from any additional gamepad features.  There isn't enough difference between the three consoles hardware wise to create the detail gulf some people expect.

The loading times are limited to the bus speed of the media it's being read from, loading times will be the same between two of the same hard drive, for instance.  It also depends on how many textures are loaded into RAM up front rather than streamed from the storage medium.

I thoguht the term ported was only used for games hitting other systems a year or so later. I'm confused

Ported is just a term that refers to using the code of one platform to form the basis for another.  Port is actually the wrong word to use in this sense, because all of the consoles are getting their own version up front, and each separate version will be built specifically for that platform.

Port shouldn't carry the negative connotation that it does here, I'm not sure what it is, or why everyone cares what version is ported where as long as the game looks and performs well on your platform of choice.

Not necessarily. It can also relate when one version of a game is used as the basis of developing a version for another platform.

There's been a lot of games with unusually long loading times. I put it down to not knowing the hardware, but maybe that's the Wii U's bottleneck? Every console has a bottleneck. I'm just thinking maybe the Wii U may be more powerful in a lot of areas but has a disadvantage with load times? I'm not sure. A next gen game like Watch_Dogs surely will push the Wii U the furthest it's managed so far. So the presumption of loading times being longer may be correct, I don't know.

Its a case of not being familiar with a new and completely different memory hierarchy then they are used to.
