"My goal?" Larry began to laugh, "I have no goal! Understand this, rebel, I may be a demon, but I'm not evil."
Larry grabbed something in his coat after glaring at Menex.

Menex suddenly felt sick. He vomited and was knocked out. He didn't have any vision. Just black darkness behind his eyelids.

Joseph came running into the village when he saw the fire.

"Did Menex let loose with another fire ball?" he said to himself

He began to look for his friends when he noticed movement on the roof tops. It was his friends Signa and Menex on the roof tops with some guy who was dressed in a brown long coat with a red army patch. There was no way he could get to the roof tops in time to help his friends fight this guy off, not with the fire spreading as it was.

It was then that he noticed a knife in the ruble of the cafe. He grabbed it and prepared to throw it at his friends' opponent, praying that he had inherited his fathers skills at knife throwing.

"Here goes nothing." he muttered to himself, as he threw the knife at the man.

The knife flew strait and true, hitting his target in the arm. He dropped something small that he had been holding, but he couldn't tell what it was.

It was then that the man turned to him, and Joseph saw his face. What stirred within him was a mixture of shock, fear, and absolute rage. He was staring into the face of the man who had killed his parents.

Larry felt the pain and dropped the die. He turned to look at Joseph, before it exploded and engulfed Larry in smoke.
(We should wait, though, I only responded because the dice explode like that.)

(Sorry guys, time zones and sleep and all. Now, let's see what I can make of this)

Otoko was nearby, and had heard every word. He did not assist in taking them in pursuing the man. What Signa, Menex and Joseph had easily forgotten in their pursuit was the village.

The explosions had left the villagers and buildings in disarray, and so Otoko went to quickly put out the fire. He used his magic to make himself fast enough to blowout the fires, by running in circles around it. He also went to get water for the people who were choking from the smoke.

Through the hunger and the action, he only had one thought:
"Why is he still alive?"

[Andy]

"You murderous (word Feld0 doesn't allow on here)!" He screamed at the villain, as he drew his blade. "Come down here and face me!"

As his anger built, he felt a strange energy flow through his arm to his blade. He wanted to swing his sword at him even though he knew the swine was out of reach. So he did, and to the shock of all who saw, a blade of pure energy flew from the tip of his sword, heading strait toward his foe.

Larry leaped away, still using the smoke as a cover.
Don't tell me I didn't warn you!" He yelled as he tossed a bag high into the air.
Pulling out his gun he fired at it and it erupted in a bright explosion. few embers rained down onto the forest, but not enough to start a fire. The explosion's flash was the diversion Larry needed.

"Time to pay for what you did to me you son of a *bleep*!" he screamed at the top of his lungs as he prepared another energy blade.

Unfortunately, before he could strike, the man threw a bag into the air, and shot it with a gun. Joseph was blinded by the flash, and when he regained his vision the man was gone.

Joseph fell to his knees, pounding the ground and screaming in rage.

"Hello" said a voice in Menex's mind.
"Who's there?" Menex said in his thoughts.
"Me? I'm you conscence. Call me Medox"
"Wait a second. If you're my conscence, why have I never heard you before?"
"Do you remeber why you are here?" Medox changed the subject.
"The last thing I remeber is... an explosion"
"We don't have time. The commotion is ending. I'll see you the next time you're knocked out."
"Wait!" Menex tried to grab the voice in his mind, but it obviously didn't work.
"Ta da!" Medox yelled from far away.

And Menex woke up.

On the town clock tower rested a figure covered in the shadow of night. He had been watching the conflict between the 3 young men and the Red Army official.

"Looks like little Joe's inherited some of Marks old moves," he said. "He still needs training though before he can stand a chance against old Larry, not to mention the other Red Skulls. But it looks like his new friends should be able to keep his butt out of trouble. Good luck kids, you'll need it."

He then vanished into the shadows.

Larry was gone. Signa cursed and turned to see Joseph pounding the ground and Menex passed out. He whistled, hoping otoko would hear it and meet up with him. He jumped off the roof by Joseph.

"...Don't worry.... We will find him again... and he will pay." he said to him in a attempt calm him.

"Menex is out of it again. We need to gather up. I need to tell everyone something."

[Auzzie Wingman]

"I think we should stay out of his way."

Otoko had finished putting out the fires in the village, and had instantly rejoined the group.

"He's nothing more than a lonely merc."

"What happened?" Asked Menex.

[Elric]

"He got away. We will see him again.... but right now I have to put you guys through a test. I want to know if everyone can handle this so I have a test. We are going to climb mount koon. That's the easy part. At the top is the dragons roost. If we could find our compatible dragons, we could use them to fly to the city!" Signa said to everyone with a grin on his face. He had was planning everything out.

"OK! Sounds like fun! But first, can I vomit?" Without a reply, he did just that. "That's better. When do we start?"

Otoko's stomach rumbled more than an earthquake.

"I don't know when you guys last ate, but it's been a week since my last decent feed. I'm not going to go anywhere if we don't get -"
Otoko was interrupted by the owner of the cafe. She said if they wanted anything for saving the cafe from burning down, they can just ask. Renewed with a random vigour, he followed the owner into the cafe, but not before saying "Win" to the other guys.

"Before we go to the city, I need to tell you guys something," Joseph said. "I followed some drunk Red Army soldiers into the woods, and they lead me to a Red Army camp. Before we leave this village, we need to take those guys out."
