Pikmin 3 will be in your hands on August 4th for America, and July 13th for Japan. Europe and Australia release dates still unannounced.

I've tried the second one for the GameCube and couldn't really get into it. Then again I'm not a fan of strategy games. It's not a game I'm looking forward to so it doesn't bother me.

My thought exactly.  I preordered my Wii U for two "launch window" games......Pikmin 3 and The Wonderful 101.  So Pikmin 3 is 5 months late and 101 is nowhere to be found.  You would think that eventually I would learn my lesson with Nintendo and adopting their hardware early on.  There is literally no point because their release dates are complete BS.

Finally a release date. Too bad it´s only in August. I hope Nintendo has something ready to come out before Pikmin 3 - besides New Luigi U - otherwise it`s going to be a looong wait.

i would find it funny if the delay was from ninty not supplieing their own developers the devkits.
