It just kind of happened, no big announcement or anything like that, just out of the blue Capcom-Unity posted that it was available on Nintendo's store to buy, it will begin shipping this Friday. You'd think that they would have made a bigger deal out of this at the recent Nintendo Direct. But here is where you can buy it:

I've seen something like this before. Do all games use it? What is it mostly used for? Do any games require it?

It's the actual Nintendo online store, go to their website, at the bottom it says "where to buy", at the bottom of that list it says "Online Store", search for 3DS XL, then in the parts and accessories section you will see the 3DS Circle Pad Pro. It's legit.

Capcom is the only company i know still using the circle pad pro, they should have added a second circle pad in the 3DS XL. Now you got a giant piece of plastic and im sure it doesn't fit anyone's pocket.

No, only certain games are compatible with the circle pad plus. To my knowledge, none require it.

I wish Nintendo would release the final revision of the 3DS with two analog sticks.
I probably won't get this, since I didn't buy the regular circle pad pro. It's still useful for people that like games like Monster Hunter or shooting games on the 3DS.

When the Circle Pad Pro mini first came out, you couldn't find it anywhere. And people on Ebay were price gouging the crap outta it. If you want one, I recommend you order it quick before you can't find one without paying an arm and a leg.

according last Nintendo direct Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for 3ds you suppose get Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate with XL Circle Pad Pro as consultation pack, but i dont see that consultation pack
in the stores why?
