This has been on my mind for awhile now: I think Nintendo should bring back a magazine dedicated to the Wii U. Just as when Microsoft introduced the xbox, the official xbox magazine came out. I've read because of digital downloads it's pretty pointless for disc demos. Seeing how slow download speeds are I say why not. I currently have a game informer subscription and they rarely talk about the Wii U. I don't know what do you guys think? (sorry if it's the wrong section)

I'm just hoping they revive NP someday. M$ has their magazine and so should Nintendo.

It would have been Nintendo Power, if it was still alive and going, I just hope they have some sort of digital magazines that every month those notifications can come with one.

Nintendo could always find a publisher that's willing to accept Nintendo Power. If M$ can make money of Xbox Magazine then Nintendo could make money off Nintendo Power.

Maybe right now since Nintendo's been so quiet concerning the U but if they made a magazine around the release dates/ reveals of Smash Bros 4, 3D Mario, Retro Studios, Monolith Soft, Mario Kart, Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, Yarn Yoshi, etc. the magazine would be very packed in content.

I'm currently subscribed to the fanmade magazine Nintendo Force. It's a great alternative to Nintendo Power.

i was thinking digital too. it would be cool to have a mivers section dedicated to it and it could be called nintendo power. the guys writing for it could be allowed to post longer statuses and be allowed to post multiple pics for it

I subscribed to NF Magazine (Was Nintendo Force, but Nintendo asked them to drop their name), it's a very professional-looking alternative to Nintendo Power, and includes a lot of Wii U coverage.

If it was digital, why not? You could read it on Wii U or 3DS.
Even have vídeos or music integrated with it.

Maybe a yearly E3 Edition. It would be good marketing. Make it digital and free, and it would be successful.

Its not as simple as that. Nintendo is a copyrighted trade mark and they are using it to make money.

As for a new Wii U magazine its not going to happen at least not in hard copy form. Digital maybe. However the Wii U install base is not big enough for a magazine to be profitable not to mention there are so many specialist gaming web sites both amateur and professional out there which post news, articles and reviews for free. Magazines are a dying breed and that's why so many have gone out of business over the last few years.

Maybe Nintendo wasn't cool with them using the company name because it wasn't an official representation of Nintendo.

I think the reason many prople were saddened by the closure of Nintendo Power not just due to nostalgia, but because it is such an iconic brand. If Nintendo Power went digital I don't think too many people would be too sad. That being said, I don't think they need a magazine; any information you nerd can be easily gound on the internet. Maybe a digital magazine would be good.

like i said, they could make a miiverse secion called nintendo power and the reps would be able to have longer posts and be able to post multiple pics
