Nintendo decided to send the above message to all Wii owners of the world to push the idea that the Wii U is a totally new system from Nintendo and not just a small hardware update for the Wii. Hopefully this will clear up confusion among consumers unsure of purchasing the Wii U. This is likely the first step from Nintendo to showing the gaming community exactly why the Wii U should now be purchased.
