EA released the following message today in regards to the release, or indeed, lack thereof, of Madded 25n for the Wii U:
We will not be releasing a Wii U version of Madden NFL in 2013. However, we have a strong partnership with Nintendo and will continue to evaluate opportunities for delivering additional Madden NFL products for Nintendo fans in the future.
I’m tempted to just brush off this quote from EA, as many other blogs and news sites feel, simply because any support for EA now would be unheard of for the Wi U. Also, I’d like to point out that the game is being released on the 25th anniversary of the original Madden game, John Madden Football, on the Super Nintendo. Ironic.
