I just got an email from Nintendo about the Starfox game. I'm not planning on buying it this year, but I might early next year.

I just wanted to ask, to they really keep telling you to do a barrel roll in the game? (Is it as annoying as Navi's "Hey! Listen!" or is it worse?)




I know a text pops up and tells you to do a barrel roll. (Is it also voiced?)

I might pick up this game after it receives a small discount, but I just want to know how annoying Flippy will be with the "Barrel Roll!" thing and if it's still annoying. (Nintendo seems to have noticed as they included it in the subject of the email o.O)

Ahem-
This is a conversation you'll get in the first level, Corneria, ALL of the conversations in each level are scripted, nothing pops out at random, it's the same conversation, and as you can see, you only get told to do a Barrel Roll at least once a level. It's really not annoying at all.

BTW- This is a conversation between ALL of the characters, not just peppy

He's only telling you that once in Corneria, and on some other stages. But only once/stage. It's not annoying at all. They're just overdoing it on youtube.

DO A BARREL ROLL! is considered one of the best things about Starfox 64; People were very disappointed when it was left out of Star Fox: Adventures.
