I started this for E3 but im not sure if anything ever happened with it. 

You get 1 point for everything you guess right and you get half points for half truths.

you get 5 points for guessing new i.p.s or features for the console.

Here are my guesses.

 

Console features

-----------------

IT IS NOT ALWAYS ONLINE

Compatible with Windows 8 devices runs on form of windows 8.

Comes with huge hard drive and might require game installations.

access xbox live on smart phones.

controller is a slim version of the 360 controller with more features maybe a screen or touch pad.

kinect 2.0 bundle.

developers can make games that are always online.

Controller is a tablet controller like the wii u's (this one wont be true) 

Microsoft announces Xbox Beyond which is a handheld to coincide with the Infinity (infinity and beyond)

Some games are always online. (i.e. defiance)

Thats not fair, seeing as they already said it wasn't always online :s

 

Features:

All games you buy on disk will be uploaded to your own account, kind of like steam, and you will not need a disk to play (feature only available online)

You have to pay monthly to go on multiplayer

Be able to check your xbox account, settings etc on the internet or mobile devices

 

Games: 

No Banjo Kazooie game, microsoft hates any good Rare IP

I don't recall Microsoft ever officially stating it under the company name though, plus. It would be smart of them to state that it would not always require an internet at the event.

I actually can't wait until they reveal it, I'm confident that it would be more powerful than the PS4, hope it is so it can shut those Sony fans up.

My predictions

-Wont be always online, but will try to convince the advantages of it with cloud gaming.

-No real change up to the controller

- Multiplat games (followed by a thousands of developers trying to convince us that this will be the dominant version, nobody cares)

-Ability to stream demos and whatever as the PS4 can do

-Another attempt to show off Kinect, which will probably look promising but still be shunned down.
-3 FPS's

-Social features like Hulu and Netflex

 

Im sure the conference will be good but there probably wont be too much to look forward to IMO.

Lets just hope the entire conference isn't about social features, games seem almost to be just a side feature.

This whole windows 8 thing has me worried. I think you're right OP but I hope you're wrong. I was forced to get windows 8 with my new laptop, and it's a joke. it's made for touch screens.

 

Also, I predict it will try to shove kinect further down our throats. EA will be a big part of their presentation as well.

I would doubt that they would integrate Windows 8 into the system, they would likely have some features that can work between the two systems but probably nothing more. The current 360 OS isn't really too far apart from the Windows 8 OS so maybe they will integrate it.

I can't see how it can be, hasn't it been reported / rumoured as NOT being as powerful? Surely its too late in the day for MS to change anything hardware wise, other than maybe bunging a couple more gig of ram into it, like Sony did?(say 10gig of ddr3 instead of 8? Not sure if that would make that much of a difference though?).

Windows 8 will be the backbone of the next Xbox, but that doesn't mean it will rely on a touch screen.

No they're not. Nintendo fans can be just as bad as Sony and Microsoft fans. All three have there fan boys and as bad as each other. To be honest some of the comments you make on these forums make you sound just as bad.
