Japanese help: Is furigana just basically harigana but above kanji?

Err... I hope you mean that it can also BE IN Katakana... Having it above would be kinda pointless.

Thanks! And one more thing. How much Kanji do you think I would have to learn to play Twilight Princess in Japanese?

Unless you got a list of every single Kanji in the game, 2000 characters. The basic Kanji that you need to know to get through Japanese. You also need to know basic grammar and a lot of words.
