Well, you can't have "Mario And Sonic At the Generic Location Olympic Games".

I'd buy it. Have the game take place in a random retail store.

pikmin, looks great, have a better set up than the day thing already confirmed. the setup from the video looked like a challangemode set up to me though, until they said they have a challange mode too. im just fearing they might go to a level progression thing, only version of that i was okay with was caves. so i hope caves make a return.

game and wario minigames, dont really look that great to me but okay.

best  buy demos... will help sales,

hope to see sonic+ more from sega though.

RogueStatus28, on 17 May 2013 - 08:21 AM, said:I think at this point Nintendo is saying: "screw the western developers, we're going to the Japanese developers" such as Sega, Capcom, and Namco.

Sega is bringing Sonic, Yakuza, and rumored Skies of Arcadia sequel.

After dealing with EA, I don't think Nintendo would really trust western developers.

My thoughts as well.

No sooner did Nintendo's Direct end - then EA "Senior Engineer" automagically tweets and deletes rubbish.

LOL

Someone wasn't expecting a major game publisher to jump on board with Nintendo and they now have poo smell coming from their trousers.

So mostly just release dates and updates?  Not near as amazing as the last direct with the Zelda announcement, but nice nonetheless.  Nice that they will be putting demos of their E3 games in stores, but what they should really do is make them downloadable on any Wii U.  I always dreamed of being able to play the demos at E3 on my console to tie me over for awhile, but this will do.

If Sonic: Lost world is as good as Sonic Colors, its a day one buy for me.  I'm hoping this leads to Sega working on another F-ZERO.  GX was fantastic and we need F-ZERO with HD and online.

Glad to see some good news for the system- maybe this will help get critical mass and EA will start developing again- not that I care all that much for sports games but I do like Madden Football.

That's not the point. The point is marketing. If people walk into best buy and see a bunch of people crowded around the wii u what do you think will happen? It's another way to get the word out about the console. It's quite a smart marketing stradegy. ^_^
