Nintendo emailed me the press release for this about 11 hours ago. Sounds awesome enough. Eiji Aonuma said that they're aiming to release it all around the world at more or less the same time, so there should be lots of Zelda goodness for everyone that week. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm very glad that we've finally received a release date for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. At least I won't have to wait until Christmas, though!

Back on topic: I hope that Skyward Sword won't get Delayed, or anything. (Although Nintendo has never done that to a Zelda game... right?)

Both Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess were delayed by years. But those games had their release dates pushed back while they were still being made. It is confirmed that Skyward Sword is in localization, and it is unlikely it will be delayed.

I read in an article that they localize AND make the game at the same time. So has Ocarina and Twilight. Could history repeat itself?
