I wanna discuss the possibilities of it. So far it's been pretty quiet (not counting Rev HD). 2 rumors I know of:

RE2 remake (Capcom hints and 100YOG) and RE7 ( http://news.softpedi...ly-354630.shtml )

Both are obviously fake to me, but it's one of my favourite franchises and RE6 was not the best..

What has happened to resident evil over the years, it went from scary horror game with puzzles, secrets and slow paced gameplay to a non scary Zombie game where the entire game is *Zombie over there, shoot, zombie over there, shoot, walk this way, kill that zombie* i miss the old play-style

lhKtSmX.png?2 Well, I've finally found my Starfox, and I love it.

I hope they are remaking 2 and 3. Might as well remake the classics since they can't make a good Resident Evil game anymore.

They really shouldn't make it a yearly franchise.

Give it a rest, lots of fans didn't like 6, let them forget and then release 7.

Well Capcom did say they wanted to release games more often.

... I think it will be an annual release like AC/COD/etc. But that doesn't mean we'll see RE7 this year.. but seeing a remake this year (rev) another one next year (re2), a spin-off the year after (outbreak, ORC, or un-numbered entry like Rev) and the year after that RE7. That's what I think at least..

Please let it be a remake, I'm tired of the current RE games.

Eh, in my eyes RE just needs a straight up remake, whilst bieng survival horror like the originals, I just hope Capcom realise this whole mostly action thing really isn't working, also those RE Movies NEED to stop, they just taint the RE name even more.

Gameplaywise it could use a reboot. But it should still be RE (characters etc.)

Personally I'd like to see a series of Resident Evil games

- Resident Evil: Code Veronica U, and Resident Evil 4 HD based on the HD versions available on PS3 and 360, but with additional gamepad features such as inventory and map.Along with classic Pro Controller and Wii Remote/Nunchuck compatability  Release: September 24th to mark 15 years of the Raccoon City incident. Price $19.95 each

- Resident Evil HD - 720p HD 16:9 full screen 5.1 surround sound remake of Resident Evil for the GameCube. Includes New Game + which contains skippable door opening sequences, gamepad inventory, map controls, alongside Miiverse item request for ammo and health items, extra costumes and proximity mine weapon - allowing strategic placing of mines that will eliminate any enemy that may burst through windows and doors, downside is you can't go past it either. Possible inclusion of a battle mode. Release: March 2014. Price $59.99

- Resident Evil 0 HD - 720p HD 16:9 full screen 5.1 surround sound remake of Resident Evil 0 for the GameCube. Includes New Game + which contains skippable door sequences, gamepad inventory, map controls, and zapping, local (second player uses gamepad, p1 uses pro controller) and online co-op. Miiverse item request for ammo and health items, and extra costumes. Release Date: July 2014. Price $59.99

- Resident Evil 2 remake - a full HD surround sound remake of Resident Evil 2 using Panta Rehi engine allowing the quick switching from a classic Resident Evil angles with classic Resident Evil controls to instantly behind the shoulder aiming, or even a hybrid of the two. Expanded levels include the sewers and water treatment facility and the underground lab facility. Includes battle modes and Miiverse features including item request in Easy and Normal Mode. Release: Holiday 2014/2015. Price $59.99

I'd buy your RE2 remake. Especially the classic and modern camera switch is good. But seeing as how it is a short game, include RE3 too. They're both in the same city and time period anyway.

REmake is by far the best Resident Evil as far as tone and horror, however RE2 by far has the best-balanced storyline, and RE3 has the best game mechanics IMO :D

Give us RE2 with REmake's attention to detail, atmosphere, level expansion, script alterations, and gameplay upgrades, while adding options of being able to play the game three different ways (classic, RE4, hybrid) to get 3 different experiences and we have the best Resident Evil game of all time, RE2 is back on top! :D

Then give RE3 remake RE4 (beta's) camera (cross between C:VX and RE4) alongside a massively expanded storyline (seriously we spend a whole 30 seconds on September 27th, have no idea how Jill got where she was and then all of a sudden move to September 28th and she's with another survivor, AND we never get a Carlos scenario, I call BULLPLOP!) Then we'd have a good contender with RE2 as well xD
