While Super Man is not the best super hero in my opinion, I have faith that Christopher Nolan will do a good job with the film.

Isn't Nolan just the producer? Zack Snyder is the one directing Man of Steel, and therefore the one with creative control over the visualization of the script.
I'm also somewhat certain, Nolan's name is posted on there just to attract people to this movie.

Anyway, I think this film looks ok. I'm not really a fan of this "nolanesque" (this film does look to be inspired by the batman films) approach to comic book films where everything is dark and depressing, especially when it comes to superman. They should have taken an approach that was more similar to the marvel movies.
I think I'll stick to the originals. No chance of a remake ever beating them.

This film will be the definition of epic (I hope) but not one thing I've read or watched about it has disapointed me, I think this is the Superman the world deserves, Henry Cavil looks like he fits the role perfectly too, can't wait at all.

After seeing a few more trailers, it seems they've lightened it up a bit, which is good in my opinion since I don't think Nolan's style would fit Superman.
