Hi,

 

I noticed this morning that the top right corner of my gamepad has small spaces along the black boarder. Please take a look at the picture.

 

It kinda looks like this ------------__------------

 

I am still in the 30 day return window from the store. Should I return it?

I can't tell from the picture, but it might just be dirt stuck on the top, try scraping it off with something, 

It doesn't seem to be a problem on the inside, it looks like its stuck on the plastic itself.

If you look real close it actually looks like rectangles of white where the black is suppose to be.

It's bad production I know that. The amount of dodgy Gamepad problems I've seen is ridiculous.

Even the Wii-U console itself is faulty sometimes. Freezes ect.

I plan to jump on my Wii U in a few hours. If no one has answered your question by than, I will look at my gamepad, and see if I can help you out. Also, I would suggest trying to look at some videos on youtube, and see if any other gamepad displayed there has the same issue.

I've been lucky so far.... Only had my system freeze up once, (was playing Call Of Duty Black Ops II). So far, no problems with my gamepad...

I've had a major glitching problem with Lego City once where colors were inverted and everything was blocky, but it was fine after a reboot.

Whenever I hold down the button to instantly jump to Wii mode, my Wii U freezes. But not when I select Wii mode from the menu.

I have a similar problem with my gamepad where there's little dints kinda near the boarders, only noticeable if the screen is off. Dust also gets stuck on the inside boarders which sucks. Sorta wish the gamepad had a flat screen interface like the Vita.
