Your parents are too dominating. They don't seem to understand mental illness. Schizophrenia is a serious problem and I don't see why your parents would blame that. Better do what they say. The least thing you want is them mad.
It's something my parents came up with. They heard about the 3D of the 3DS causing people headaches and assumed it could cause schizophrenia.
Headaches don't cause schizophrenia. It's most likely faulty wiring in the brain.

If you have Schizophrenia and the 3D is huring your eyes then why not just turn off the 3D altogether? We have the 3D depth slider for a reason.

I think my kids are lucky that I'm that deep into gaming. My boy(4) played monsterhunter yesterday. I didn't even notice it. Then I logged into his WiiU profile and looked at the Diary and saw that he has played for almost 8 hours....during two weeks. The little basterd!

I have 2 Vita's and a 3ds, the 3ds gets WAY more play time, only reason i even still have the Vita's is in case i decide to get PS4, or go back to PC gaming then sell them ^.^

Just explain to your parents that the 3DS doesn't cause mental illnesses. If that was true, the console would have been pulled off the shelves mere weeks after release. At worst it can cause a headache. If that doesn't work, simply promise to not use the 3D feature.
